but people. PLEASE!
take this off the list.
i really doubt everyone else not involved in this spat want to hear this.
espeically when your post to the list, taking up tons of bandwith is just
trashing me.
so....

HI all.
I was wondering. I really love the song "Into The Blue" that Moby does. ALSO,
there are TONS of remixes of it which is SUPER-great.
I'd like to ask what version/remix is everyone's personal favorite for "Into
The Blue".
My two favorites are:
Simple Mix (doesn't seem simple to me, and I get energized listening to it!)
Sound Beatmasters Mix (because the vocals seem more clearer and the beat is
great)
there might be a couple remixes that I have not heard (poor me!) but I
thought I'd ask all of your opinions.
"With water surrounding me
I fight for the dear of life,
and dive INTO THE BLUE"
beautiful stuff!

both me being new here, and human nature have nothing

and if you did'nt want or CAN'T HANDLE the

list to begin with-"I FEEL".
and again-you know nothing about me-so how could you
possibly know how i would react or "feel". if you have
some sort of masochistic need to be verbally

What determines which songs become singles? Does the artist pick them? If so
what criteria do they use? Do the managers pick them? IF so what criteria do
THEY use?
I was always confused about that.

i've always thought that it was the record company that decided what was
the most radio friendly.
or maybe its the artist. i dunno. good question. a lot of the time i'll
be listening to a cd and wondering why one song got picked as a single over
another.
its probably just politics tho.

I think record companies pick them, and there is no real criteria used,
just what will sell the most copies :)
seriously, i have no clue, but I remember reading somewhere that the
record companies make the calls about singles...

Ok, I'm really glad I came on this list, so many people even more
obsessed and wierd than me, which is fucking hard to acomplish. And I
hate the way every little e-mail sparks off a massive pointless stupid
sad arguement which has absolutly nothing to do with the e-mail that
started it. Like the whole " homosexuality is not a joke" arguement that
raged for ages after Bart just sent in a joke about necrophelia.
I'll be back, eventually.....
Oh, just in case you have a vote on the best song on Play, I'll vote
for......Everloving
I'll be gone from the list by the time you have a list of your top 15
songs for a compelation, so I'll just list my top 15.
All album versions unless otherwise stated...
Hymn
Love Theme
Soft
Why does my heart feel so bad?
God moving over the face of the waters
Anthem
What Love?
Thats when I reach for my revolver
Face it
Living
Love song for my mum
Everloving
South Side
Machete
Every time you touch me (live guitar version)
SO LOng
" Just when you think life's shit, it does something worse to you"
" The race is long, and in the end it's only with yourself"
" I feel ill"
Oh, one last thing.......
BUY MOONCHICKENS NEW CD WHEN IT COMES OUT, THEY ARE AN AMAZING BAND FROM
SCARBOROUGH. JUST THINK OF "SOMEONE TO LOVE" BUT FAR FAR HEAVIER, FAR
FAR LOUDER, AND BASICALLY JUST PURE FUCKING NOISE.

eH? tHAT'S NOT WHAT i WAS ARGUING ABOUT or at least it

I want to appoligize to everyone for reading the PLAY insert and bring up the
GWEN question, but I take no responsibility for what happened. Enough of that.
So, I'll be in America in less than a day and wondering if anyone besides
Brian and Elie are going to the Moby show in Hartford? I am quite looking
forward to it.
Also, about the Body Rock. The other day I said I loved it, but it was very
Fat Boy Slimish. Well, just like Fat Boy Slim, I have kind of gotten tired of
it already. I noticed that background beat that is very similiar to the Jamese
Bond Theme. But anyway, as my interest is deteriorating for the song, I am
getting to love track 9, Machete. Kind of the most AR track of them all on
Play, but very good. For all of you Americans who have no idea what I am
talking about, if you happen t be in Baltimore area next week, look for a pimp
ass 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, well actually listen for it, cause I will be
playing PLAY for everyone not fortunate enough to have it yet. Can't wait to
be in America and drive on the RIGHT side of the road! Later.

But for what it is worth, I saw No Doubt at Rockfest at the Texas
Motor Speedway last year (400,000 people there), and I must say, she can
work a crowd! Honestly I dont care to hear them on the radio, etc. But I
guess there is something about 1/2 a million people bouncing together......
