  76. Moby released a Barracuda 12" on Instinct in May 1991. (yes I had to check) 
  77. It's got both versions of Drug Fits The Face, Party Time, and Barracuda on 
  78. it. DFTF is a very hypnotic song if you let it into your brain. There was a 
  79. UK 12" on C.T. records that I've been after for a long time with an 
  80. exclusive Moby song on it called Mad Love, which as I understand is built on 
  81. a Chaka Khan sample. Moby also did Barracuda mixes of Jam & Spoon's Stella, 
  82. And Recoil's Faith Healer. His Barracuda sound is generally light and 
  83. groovy, and I've heard it called italo-disco but I'm terrible with subgenres 
  84. so I can't attest to that.

  86. We're all normal people! Even those of you with bathtubs full of lime jello. 
  87. I haven't heard Play, either, and I'll be waiting until June 1st to hear it 
  88. like most of you in the US. That's going to be a busy month here on this 
  89. list, I'll bet!

  108. First one question: is Lost Again a track written by Moby. If yes, why isn't

  112. I just bought a strange Cd of Moby.
  113. It has the cover and the tracks of The Story so Far
  114. BUT it has the back cover and the list on the Cd of Moby.

  116. How can I change this Cd with a true Moby album with its cover, its tracks, 
  117. its back cover and cd list ? (There is no address or e-mail address on it).

  141. That's an interesting thing. I assume you bought it used, because Instinct 
  142. (US) makes "Moby" and Equator (UK/EU) makes "The Story So Far". Somebody 
  143. owned both and sold the Story So Far in a Moby case. It's practically 
  144. impossible for a you to get a new copy of Moby w/ SSF in it.

  149. I doubt that you can. I don't know of any record company that sells liner 
  150. notes alone. I would recommend returning it to the seller and buying a new 
  151. "Moby" somewhere else. Good luck!

  154. pictures for you to post on your French Moby site. Write me privately and

  172. move back to America in time to go to college in Septemeber. I live in Tokyo,
  173. not Miyagi prefecture, but sort of a joke, my middle name is "Mr. Miyagi" from
  174. Karate Kid. Are yout the one who was going to Japan to be an English teacher?
  175. I know someone here or on the Orbital list was doing that with their Japanese
  176. girlfriend (I think). Anyway, dude, if you went to a ton of record shops in
  177. Tokyo and didn't find any gems, I would think you're blind. For real, one of
  178. my reasons for loving it here so much is the awesome stuff I can find. Techno
  179. is much bigger here than it is in America, at least in the North East. DC to
  180. Boston. The Underworld CD came out on March 1st and it is still in the Top 10
  181. here. Even the new Orbital was 34 or something this week and has been out for
  182. a month already. God, even Atari Teenage Riot is 20something. You should come
  183. back and I will give you some stores. And as far as the Cardigans go, they
  184. played here the other month and got so pissed off at the Japanese crowd they
  185. didn't even finish their set and walked away and I have a feeling they won't
  186. be coming back. Ever.

  201. all. It was in the plastic on said Cool price (I understand why ?)

  204. track with three nice notes of piano and the story is about a man that goes

  280.         I love that DFTF version on "Story So Far" Moby release. I think it's 
  281. way better than the "Rare" version. Great opening on it. Party Time kicks butt 
  282. on "Story So Far" as well.

  285. Moby'as early stuff). I would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't gotten it
  286. yet.

  322. Does it actually say "Story So Far" on the front, or are you just seeing the 
  323. Moby head and thinking of Story So Far? Also, does the back insert list 
  324. Instinct, as the Moby liner notes would? How about inside the front sleeve? 
  325. Does that say Equator? (like Story So Far would) Both CDs have simalar track 
  326. listings, so maybe you're just confused because they look the same. (correct 
  327. me if I'm wrong)

  343. I saw an old Rolling Stone yesterday with Howard Stern on the cover. (march 
  344. 97) In the random notes there was a picture of Moby & David Bowie at the 
  345. Animal Rights concert / release party. David Bowie was quoted as saying (in 
  346. reference to Moby's switch to rock) that it was 'a very very daring 
  347. adventurous thing for Moby to do' or something very close to that. Moby also 
  348. said (on stage, I think) that "Soft" is a song about anal sex.

  365. track listing (see the the Moby Discography : Everything in first for Moby Ah 
  366. Ah for the other, A go remix that isn't on Moby but is on the SSF, Thousand 
  367. in 9 for SSF and in 12 for Moby ...). The Front says the Story So Far. The 
  368. Side don't.( It says Pinnacle Labels    Virgin    Moby    7243 8 47053 2 9). No 
  369. label on the front cover, Pinnacle Instinct labels on the back. But the more 
  370. astonishing is the Cd in itself that says on it the track listing of moby but 
  371. when you listen to it the tracks are those of the Story So FAr (Instinct.. 
  372. written on it) Could this CD ? be a Collector, a  unique one in the world ?

  439. see a DJ set?  Somebody talk me into going to this.... I just don't

  568. I got the Dutch magazine OOR today, it has a 2 page interview with Moby
  569. about Play. Nothing special, just the usual questions... (great picture
  570. though!)
  571. The latest edition of OOR also includes a Play review in their review
  572. section.
