I'm with ya Christian. I think ...
WHat is a great classic Moby song that "rocks my boat" & made me want to buy
MOBY and more MOBY was the "Next is the E" (I feel IT mix) or (club mix).
That stuff makes me feel great. I had originally heard the Cool World version
and thought it was OK, but these versions I mentioned kick butt in a major
way.

Since I'm totally at odds with the particulars of many of his social
beliefs, I'd have to claim membership in your group. I took interest in him
because of his Christianity, but I've been extremely disappointed with the
way he conducts himself. So now it's just music to me... :\

Subject: (mobility) RE: Run On, old shitty reviews, and anything else.
Hellow, I've got the other Run On D now. If it's only 2 quid I
thought I might as well have both, just got some overtime in at work.
So, my l;ittle shitty mini review
Run On extended
The problem with this is that I don't think Run On deserves to be
exteneded. It's a great ahppy track that cheers you up, but doesn't have
enough to warent a longer time. Songs Like Face It should be longer,
this, no, bad idea, I think. Still god song though.
Sunday
Oh yes, now this is so good. Starts off pretty naff i though but then
it, well, it's fucking excellent. Completely fantastic, makes the whole
Cd worth it.
Down Slow ( full length)
Now I didn't like this particularly, yet my mum loved it. Ah well.
Ok, I think, if you only want to buy one CD, go for Run On, it has
Spirit on that is so fucking excellent. Otherwise, go for both actually.
We've all got different music tastes so probably like different versions
of Run On.
Anyhow, am I the only person talking about Run On at the moment? I
suppose I'll add my bit to all the crap over the past few days. Skip
over this paragraph if you are sick to fucking death of the whole
fucking thing.
I really don't give a fuck about if people are gay, if moby is gay or
whatever. For all i care he could have bondage fantasies about dressing
up as a teletubby, it doesn't effect his music, which I love. There
seeems so much missunderstanding, bitchiness and hatred here at the
moment. Just drop the fucking issue, I want to talk about Face it and
Run On at the moment. Sod it, I'll talk to myself.
Back to interesting stuff.....
Taking about shitty reviews, i read an e-magezine a while ago that had a
review of AR. They obviously had not listened to the album, going on
about hw ANILIT was the only nice quite track, while the rest was shitty
guitars. Duh, Living? LSFMM? Now, they didn't listen to it, just
critisised it for not been dance. Bastards. I love that album, it has
Face It, Soft, and so much more.
I'm converting people to Moby, slowly. Face It was played at a night
club on Rock Night last friday, people who were there are asking about
what album it's off and stuff. Cool. I love that song so much.
Spirit's cool as well.
When my messages appear onmobility they have lots of " = " sighns and
stuff. Why? It's a bugger to read.
Ok, here's a question........
There''s Run On, and Run On exteneded. If lots of people buy noth
versions, do
a) RO and ROE get in the charts
b) RO get in the charts, as buying ROE just counts as buying RO again.
just curious
Bugger, I can't get out of work to go to Glastenburry. I'm going to see
the eclipse, so I could only get a week off and am using it for that.
It'd be really cool if Moby was in Cornwall for a gig straight after the
eclipse. But he's not. Ah well.
Still typing...
Hello to all the new people, please don't be put off by all the
bitchiness at the moment, be happy.
So long
" The race is long, and in the end it's only with yourself"
Everyone Is Free To Wear Sunscream
Oh, I alsways thought on EIW the bloke say
s " some sense of rocking" and I'll carry on belieiving that no matter
if it isn't true. I like that lyric. I like how you can't hear the
lyrics in moby's songs, and here what you feel, not what he says.
don't break my illusions

Nice to have some pleasant calming influence.
Now - I hope Moby is playing Glastonbury this year? Anyone
heard any rumours on this? Still, at least I'll be seeing
him play in May. He was the highlight of the festival for
me last year.

Christian was having problems with his email making it through to the
mailing list because of server problems. The first one was probably a
fluke or test and the second one was probably relief or excitement that
things were okay again.
Secondly, Christian... in replying to a post you can quote if you want
to but I recommend cutting or editing out anything that you are not
directly responding to. So far you haven't used quotes and that's
worked fine too. Do what you are comfortable with and think people will

the fact that their web site seems to be funked up as of late when it
comes to purchases. At least they have a work around that's useful.

hi everybody, as i read the things you people write, i just feel sad about
what's happening outthere, i'm almost envious, because you report about how
you went to see moby playing there and there and then and then, hm....
yes, i envy you, but don't take it bad. i just want you to appreciate that
you have then chance to see a lot of good artists and to get news about them,
because if you lived somewhere like eastern europe, where there is a density
of moby fans like the one of beach volleyball champions in antarctics, you
wouldn feel a bit lonely. therefor i subscribed to this list and therefor i'm
trying to make my friends like moby and make them make their friends like him
etc.. .
hm... don't read on, if you expect any serious stuff.
i want to tell about how i brought my friends to moby. actually, they are not
as mad about him as i do, but when anyone from among them comes to see me and
there is some nasty (for their ears nasty) music playing in my room, they keep
asking me to play moby instead of that. and that's a kind of success, i think.
The girls, they enjoyed little idiot cd and then a fine step to Into the Blue
and When it's Cold I'd like to die (which is a hymn to me), and then, it was not
hard to convince them to like Next is the E, or Anthem.
The boys, well, the boys they sure like animal rights, so the development was
right the opposite to girls, from harder stuff to the mellow ones.
i feel very happy when they tell me, that they like the music. because they are
my friends and this is a part of me.
i also got to play some moby songs at a technoparty here, it started with the
james bond theme (which was a new song then), then through UHF3 and Next is the
E to a finish, which was nothing but GO mixed with the GO original version. It
was a short set, about 10 minutes, but i felt VERY HIGH, when i could just
jump around behind all the funny DJ equipment with (yee-eeh) GO making the
people sweat. i'm putting together an oldies techno party (for fanatics who
have not forgotten how Westbam, Prodigy, U96 or MOBY sound like) and i'm
looking forward the moby set, i'd olike to play there.
if anyone from you has ever played any moby songs or even mixed them, please,
i'd feel very proud to read some advices from you. (you'll get a free ticket to
the party then :) )
love peace and harmony to all of you and thanx4tolerating me.

Yo Damien, I hope that wasn't to me about cutting anyone slack. I just wanted
to help out. Anyway.
So, today I got the Run On singles. First, I want to know this. Since I have
to pay 11 bucks for each one I really would like to know the answer. What is
the deal ith everyone latetly releasing 2 different singles of the same song?
Has this been going on for ever? BT, Moby, Aphex, Orbital, 808 State,
Faithless, Underworld, and thos are just in the last month. (And the only ones
I cared about.) Actually, I bought them all except for the 808 State. Anyone
heard that? I didn't even know they were still around.
So anyway, Run On. Basically, it sucks. About the same level as Honey. Can't
totally remember Honey but since I don't really want to put it in, I won't
remember. I think Honey and Run on should have been conbined not on the same
single in America but into the same song. Definatly didn't need to be
extended. But, this time, just as it was with Honey, the following track is
awesome. Spirit is such a great track. I assume that it is on Play right?
Along with Micronesia (? Whichever was the good one on Honey)? The other songs
are all decent but I don't like Run On and I love Spirit. So, definatly buy
the First CD, and if you want the Extended. Actually that brings up one more
question. Why is it that that CD colors match the other CD's insert color?
Understand? The red insert one has a yellow CD that matches the yellow insert
one that has a red CD that mtches the first red insert one. You must understnd
now. Well, I do like the simple covers of Honey, Run On, and Play. Anyway, Later.

hi there.
so i was bored again and i made a moby cursor that is like the one on the
http://moby.org/fans.html except i made it for a winamp skin i've been
working on for a long time only i found that winamp does not support
animated cursors. imo, the cursor is cool as hellfrozovr. it's green. it's
the old moby logo. when it spins there are lighting effects that make it
reflect lighter and darker it looks and is very 3d. made it with xara3d,
macromedia flash, & some randomly downloaded icon makin program. it was
made with the technobats font i downloaded a while back from some NIN page.
if you downloaded the oldr cursor and use it i suggest you look at the one
i've made.
it is a zipped/animated cursor about 16kb.
http://members.tripod.com/~g0Dzinx/manicur.zip
i have yet to make a web page to host it.
i'm very curious as to thanks II's what and whenabouts. the track i
submitted or mentioned i'm not so sure is very worthy a track for me to
submit so i retract it. to i think about it i made it in only a few hours
(0k maybe like five) because i remember having said i would submit a track
and that i haven't followed up on it at least as some may have noticed or
not. it dont convey the respect i have for his work. it is the first track
that i have actually "finished".
if you haven't heard it or downloaded it and are considering-
http://members.tripod.com/~g0Dzinx/gu-hymn.mp3
i'm going to remove it from my server in a day or two. of course i would
like to hear opinions on it even if you think it is no thing. hell. just
if you like it or not? you can add it to the bottom of your post to
mobility or a short personal? it would probably mean a lot to me.
i have heard nothing of thanks II in a while. i know that Ade is still
accepting cover/insert art submissions @:
http://picard.anderson.edu/~adekunle/mobility/
personally i dont mind at all how long this is taking. it gives me a chance
to make something better for it. as time passes i'm growing more and more
when it comes to music more then i can believe sometimes-much thanks to MOBY
and this list.
so?..
is anybody willing to talk about tracks they're thinkin' about submitting?
have any samples. i really want to hear something or see that somebody
still has t2 or maybe even 3 on their minds.
- ---
i can't wait to hear a longer version of Down Slow.
moby's growing up i think. the beauty and innocence or feeling he can
convey is amazing. i can't wait to hear music of his if/when\after he has a
kid.

I remember those sesame street songs from the Raves I went to in
college. Those were the days. They don't make raves like they did in
the early 90's anymore. 90-93
I liked that C-is-for-cookie song. I wonder who did that? I'd probably
try to buy it just for "old times sake".
I did not like the "Sesame Street" rave song however. That was lame.
BTW -
Anyone know of any Raves in the Boston area?? Even Albany/Saratoga, NY
area (i doubt it)??
I wouldn't mind going to one to see what the kids are doing these
days. You crazy kids! *hide* <-- that one is for Pickle
