  83. for different results.(separately) Worth noting: this store has a Techno
  84. Video comp w/ Prodigy, KMFDM, and 3 Moby videos on it for $20, they have the
  85. Bowie 12" w/ all 3 moby mixes including the 'moby mix 2', the blur single, a

  131. an extra track of all the individual parts of the song, alone, so that
  132. remixers could remix them. they were having a contest. anyone know the

  136. didnt have enuff $ tho. but i listened to it, and, quite honestly, i

  256. contents. I would speculate that if it is not an error, then it is AR + LI
  257. and the UK singles. (Revolver 1 & 2, COB 6trk?) It is listed as both import
  258. and Mute.

  260. The video comp can be found by typing MOBY in the TITLE search and pushing
  261. the START SEARCH button. Be sure to leave the other areas blank. It's the
  262. 10th entry, TECHNO VIDEO MONTHLY. It has ETYTM, Hymn, FSR, a KMFDM video, a
  263. Prodigy video, an EBN (they rule!) video, and a Towa Tei video.

  421. And for those interested I also saw an ad in Wizard magazine that say's 
  422. she is featured on the "WitchBlade" soundtrack CD, (and she was listed as 
  423. "Mimi Goese", but on

  633. taken already.  it's been about 12 hours since i posted
  634. the original message, and i had to decline 5 people so

  671. When I first heard about the 20 copies only, I decided I really
  672. didn't want to be part of the action becuase I'm sensing some
  673. kind of control hungry power trippy exclusive club kinda vibe,
  674. where you're really paying money to just be one of the exclusive
  675. few who are part of the "i'm cooler than you club" or something.

  677. Whover's decision it was to only make twenty copies available is
  678. having fun teasing many of you, for reasons I could never understand.
  679. Being that it's a CD-r where each copy can be made one at a time
  680. (not in limited MASS printings like real labels print limited editions,
  681. almost always from 100-10,000 copies depending on how big the group is)
  682. I'm sure that the resouces exist to make copies available for
  683. anyone who wants them, I'd like to hear a rational explaination
  684. for why only twenty people get to order this CD...after all the
  685. extra 10 or 20 CDs that would cover probably all the rest of the people
  686. currently on the list and digest wouldn't kill you.

  688. So you alreay had to turn 5 people down....imagine how you made them
  689. feel....for what? As if the CD will be worth something someday, dream
  690. on...there are hundreds of tribute albums I've seen and when all the
  691. artists on it are unknowns and it's not on an official label, it's
  692. never going to be worth anything but sentimental value which is
  693. something you should share with people out of decency since I can't
  694. imagine how anyone could lose out on a few more copies being made
  695. to whoever wants them right at this time.

  697. And how was the announcement fair???? I got it within a couple hours,
  698. but many people don't check their email every hour on the hour, if
  699. you are one of the people checking late at night only, maybe not every
  700. day or maybe you're just out of town for a few days...whatever
  701. it is, it's unfair to those who weren't caller #105 or whatever,
  702. no one said anything about a contest where you had to check your email
  703. every fuckin minute of every day until the announcement was made
  704. so you could be one of the first twenty....maybe there are list
  705. members out there who really wanted it and won't even see this until
  706. they get their email later. Once again, I don;t even want one due
  707. to the already present elite-ist attitude, so I'm merely fighting
  708. against what I think is wrong....if anyone agrees I'd like to know.

  711. you have chosen to make 20 people happy and 5 people feel like they
  712. lost out and were DENIED...and more to come I'm sure, I absolutely
  713. don't approve, there is no real good reason to deny any list member
  714. a chance to hear the CD.

  716. If this is how Thanks 2 is going to be handled I don't even want to
  717. be a part of it, I will instead give my cover song out freely to 
  718. everyone in mp3 format.
