Orbital = Phil & Paul Hartnoll. I don't know either was fat.
I wonder if they're ever going release anything again. It's been

Excerpt from John C. Dvorak's Inside Track column in PC Magazine,
November 3, 1998:
Cyrix is rolling out a reduced-voltage version of the MediaGX, which
was quickly picked up by Casio for its micro-notebook computer. This
machine is expected to be in the Libretto class of handbag computers,
also known as the "who needs this?" class. NEC has one coming out
called the Mobio. I believe the Mobio will support a full Windows OS,
as opposed to the slew of new Jupiter-class "who needs this?" machines
running Windows CE.
So, a little computer called the Mobio... Alrighty, then. Maybe we can
make a Moby trivia game and have a question about it. Ah, nevermind. ;)

This isn't exactly a happycore artist, but check out the Anabolic Frolic (a
Toronto DJ/promoter/whatever who i think is pretty neat) web site... he's
the guy responsible for hullabaloo! around here.
http://web.idirect.com/~chris/happy.html
The free mix tape is pretty damn cool... and its got info on where to get
happy hardcore and i think there's a blurb about the record label he runs
or something... anyway... i think there are a few reviews of some
compilations you can pick up... good luck. PLUR.

I should apologize for saying that in an earlier post. As someone else
pointed out, it's not the "Low End Mix", but instead the "Low Side Mix",
done by Moby himself. Maybe I thought that because the day I bought that
12", I also saw a 12" for "Scenario", and was seriously considering
purchasing it.
So yeah...the "Honey" single I have has the following tracks:
Honey--Rollo & Sister Bliss Mix
Honey--Sharam Jey's Sweet Honey Mix
Honey--Moby's Low Side Mix
By the way, the "Low Side Mix" is basically the original without the
(eventually annoying) repeating sample of Bessie singing. I think. In
any event, the whole damn single is good.

Subject: (mobility) moby double 12 "pack
Concerning the double 12" pack, it does exist. Mute released it mid
September. I think DEF Mangement sent a note to the list themselves (or
maybe Mute). Either way its out because I ordered directly from Mute
themselves (along with the new Depeche Mode singles vinyl boxset and all
four of the formats of the new single(really check out the Dj Shadow
mix). I honestly think ordering thru Mute directly is the best
option for fans both price wize , it came out to I think $14 with
ship and handling, and speed, only a couple of days. Also it goes
directly to a great indie label that has supported Moby for a number of
years blah blah blah.
One other thing, anyone that is lucky enough to own the import version
of Everything is Wrong(w/Underwater), which is still availbe from Mute,
that you should replace the double sided black cd tray with a clear cd
tray so the inside insert shot of the water can be seen instead of the
black tray. I think it kind of looks cooler.

It actually sounds completely different than the original mix. It's
kind of dark and repetitive and a bit tense -- good for certain DJs to
play, I'm sure. I like it myself, along with all of Moby's other
mixes. <SUGGESTION>The Dark, Risk, and Low Side mixes should be
considered for inclusion on Moby's next US CD single (whenever and
whatever it happens to be). Frankly, there isn't a bad mix of Honey,
so I hope all of the vinyl-only mixes make it onto CD or at least
*something* in the US.</SUGGESTION>
Does anyone know how well Honey did in the charts where it was
released? I think it's a good dancey track, so it ought to have
attained a decent position.

I've heard of Regurgitator, they're like this funk/industrial/hip-hop/80's
synth-pop/disco Australian hybrid band. One of their bigger songs was
called "I Sucked A Lot of Cock to Get Where I Am." At least I think it was
big in Australia, that's what my friend from Australia says. Very
interesting to say the least.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE AND UNSUBSCRIBE
- --------------------------------
To join "mobility," send email to majordomo@lists.xmission.com with
the command "subscribe mobility" (without quotes) in the body of the
message. You will receive a confirmation message and a copy of this
information file. Once you are subscribed, you will receive each
message as it is posted to the list.
A digest version of "mobility" is also available. If you subscribe to
the digest you will receive groups of postings in a single email message
instead of one at a time. These "digests" are sent out whenever there
is a certain amount of text in the queue. It is usually best to try the
regular version of the list first and then switch to the digest if you
are getting more mail from the regular version that you can deal with
comfortably. To subscribe to the digest, send the command "subscribe
mobility-digest" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com (again, with no quotes)
in the body of the message.
Once subscribed, send your emails to mobility@lists.xmission.com
- - PLEASE NOTE - The address you subscribe must be the address you use
to send email to mobility! This list does not accept mail from non-
subscribed addresses. So if you have multiple accounts or your address
gets changed in the sending process it will not show up on the list.
It will get delayed and will likely be returned. This policy is helpful
in preventing SPAM from reaching the Mobility mailing list.
To leave the list, send email to majordomo@lists.xmission.com with
the command "unsubscribe mobility" or "unsubscribe mobility-digest"
(as appropriate) in the body of the message. If you have trouble
unsubscribing, send an email describing the problem in detail to
owner-mobility@lists.xmission.com
CHANGING FROM BOUNCE MODE TO DIGEST MODE
- ----------------------------------------
Should you wish to receive a digest, send a message to
majordomo@lists.xmission.com and in the body of the message type
"unsubscribe mobility" on the first line, and then type "subscribe
mobility-digest" on the next line.
REMEMBER: problems with your subscription should be reported
to owner-mobility@lists.xmission.com, not to the list itself.

UK Top 40 Club Chart --promo releases only--
8 HONEY / Moby / Mute 02 August 1998 (2nd week)
27 HONEY / Moby / Mute 16 August 1998 (3rd week)
Honey didn't make it to the top 40 in it's first week of release.
It then shot up to #8 on the second week. A fourth week didn't exist
because it was then released commercially, therefore disqualifying it
from the Club chart.
UK Top 30 Dance Singles
17 HONEY / Moby / Mute 30 August 1998 (1st & only week)
UK Top 40 Singles
33 HONEY / Moby / Mute 30 August 1998 (1st & only week)
That's all I could dig up for the single's history in the UK. I don't
have record of any other chart position after August 30. I don't think
it showed up anywhere after that. Someone please correct me if my
information is wrong.
HONEY deserved a better & longer life.

Well, I drew it with a ballpoint pen so no, it's not symmetrical, although I
tried to have it come close. A slip of the hand is the reason the big flames
on top are so off. I don't think it looks bad. If anybody using it for the
cover art wants to chop it in half & mirror it so it's closer to perfect is
welcome to.
As for it being tilted, I think that was done intentionally by Tom.(T4dpolE)
It looks better alongside the vortex when tilted, IMO.
Strangely enough, the size I drew it on paper is record sticker sized. I set
a sleeve with a hole in the middle for the record over it and it fits
perfectly. Who knows, maybe one day we'll do a vinyl tribute. :)

I have been asked to forward the following statement by Moby's US
management, MCT:
- --------------------
Tramps night club in New York City recently advertised a benefit show
both on flyers and in the Village Voice to be held on November 5th with
Moby's name listed on the bill. Moby had agreed to DJ at the event, to
support the Artists Against Racism organization, but the advertising did
not specify the nature of the performance. Due to this potentially
misleading promotion of the event, Moby has decided not to disappoint his
fans who might show up expecting a live performance and has removed
himself from the bill. Moby expresses his regret for having to do so and
his continued support of A.A.R.'s fight against racism.
Moby will DJ from 12.30-1.30 on November 4th at Speed, 20 West 39th St,
NYC, in conjunction with the CMJ Music Marathon.

DAMN IT!!! Damn it!! Okay, so I was supposed to go to CMJ, but due to a
sudden string of payments I had to make for assorted malfeasances (sp?), I
can't go anymore. I was upset enough when I found out that I would miss
Sunny Day Real Estate, Burning Airlines, the Promise Ring, and some
others. But knowing that Moby is going to be doing something at least
somewhat CMJ-related, I'm pissed.
And I found out that some radio station colleagues of mine also got
invites to a certain all-night party to be DJ'd by Prince Paul, also at
CMJ. I'm pissed, again.
