WHAT? I reposted the address for Replay records but when I ordered over 2
weeks ago they said that they were out of the 1st CD and it would take a few
days to restock. I still haven't recieved anything!!! Anyway, how much did
you end up paying? I calculated that it was less than 11 dollars (US) for
both CDs and shipping. What's up with my order?
I ordered them from the website and received no confirmation from them. I
just received all 3 items in the mail. I will tell what i was charged when my
CC statement comes.

Hi again. i guess I should check all my messages first before replying to
some. sorry to ask AGAIN about the soundtrack...I didn't know others have
asked so please ignore it...sorry for the extra mail. Ok...now, I do hate
to admit it...but I did become a vegetarian about two years ago, mostly
under Moby's influence. I don't like to admit it because it makes me feel
like a follower...but however, it was my decision to make...he was just a
big influence...AND I'm also kind of a cheater. I'm what they call a
pesco-vegetarian....i eat fish...I can't help it I'm a sucker for sushi.
I'm curious to know the answer to this question myself.

Here's why. The 'To' line is who the message is addressed to. The 'Cc' is
for other people who should get the e-mail even though it's not to them.
You're sending it twice because you have both of these in there. Just use
one of them, they both accept e-mail for mobility.

The reason I didn't want to talk about this subject is not because anyones
feelings would get hurt. If you feel abused or neglected or whatever because
of email, well then you have big issues than what to eat for dinner. I didn't
want to talk about it because our mailboxes get flooded - and the emails are
much longer than normal. IT can be good, but I don't see it with this topic
that cannot get solved. Animals are made of meat, and so are humans.
Unfortunatly, they are always out of human when I go to the butcher. I guess I
have to wake up earlier. And I'll tell you what. Say you were living your
whole life to one day be the first person on MARS. you knew you would never
come back because you were going to die after a day there. But that was your
only purpose. To send back video footage. Whatever. Those live their life just
to get fed to us. They don't have a bad life, the sit and eat good food. I
don't know how they die, but there are plenty of ways to kill them that are
not painfull at all. It doesn't matter if they want to or not. It isn't like
Bessy was going to find the cure for Mad Cow Desease or something. They serve
their purpose. If their treatment is the issue, I hope none of you vegetarians
have dogs. Maybe you should go out to a puppy mill one day. Anyway, I am going
up for a ham sandwich. Oh yea, ou are right that this has more relevance to
anything than Ken Starr. If those damn republicans would just mind their own
business. And about God creating animals with meat, I don't believe in God, so
that is not my basis for that either. And finally, I just wanted to say that
Steve and the new/old guy have got more Moby that Moby knows about and that is
so awesome, but you should now look back at everything and calculate how much
you payed for it. Later.

Me too. I considered Moby's arguments four years ago, became a vegetarian,
and since one year I'm a vegan and an animal rights activist.

hey thanks 2 could be a good idea. i would like to contribute but i
aint such a good musician. mine would end up on the rejects disc ;) or
something. i mean, i could do a really lo-fi kinda thing. well, not
now, when i get some equipment. which might not be for a while. but
this won't come out for a while, if it does, so i got time.
i'm kinda iffy on sharing my ideas cuz some 1 might steal em, but my
idea is starting out like Orbital's "Dwr Budr" and then covering NITE
in an ambient version, and then reverting back to a full-on cover of
"Dwr Budr". interesting, eh? but i dont have any equipment. i have so
many ideas and titles but no equipment. yet. plus all i have is a sony
tape recorder to record on. so it would be REAAAAAL Lo-fi. anyone who
heard my first demo (like only 2 people...i have GOT to buy some
blanks and make more copies...) knows what i mean.
oh well bye.

Hey,
This may be sorta weird, cause this is an email from two, yes count 'em,
TWO different people at the same time. Jennafur, who has posted something,
and Kelly, who well... has been lazy and just reading everything and not
posting anything. :P
Anyway, we thought we'd both give our comments about the Moby maybe
influencing us to become veggies quesstions.
Kelly:
Actually I made the choice to become a vegetarian about a week before i was
introduced to Moby's amazing music (suck up points!!! heh) and he was one
of the reasons that I started to dabble in veganism. So, maybe he did
influence me a *little* bit, his facts and essays did give me the kick in
the butt to actually pay attention to what I was putting into my body, but
it was more or less my own decision to stop eating animal products. Right
now I'm a lacto-vegetarian, cause of a few reasons, but I still think eggs
are WRONG. (but that's just my opinion. not trying to change anyone else's
views. to each his own.) Other moby fans I know are still meat eaters. I
dont think Moby really has THAT much control over anyone. If people go
veggie after reading what moby has to say, they probably were thinking
about stuff like this for a long time in the back of their head.
Generally, Moby followers aren't dumb enough to just follow things blindly
unlike SOME people *coughSPICEGIRLSFANScough* (jen sez ditto). peace.
Jennafur: I became a "veggie" after doing a biology debate on milk as the
perfect food (i was against milk as the perfect food). It was what I
learned about the animal husbandry and ethics that really gave me the umph
to go veggie. Before I knew the facts I was more or less ignorant. I
would have become a veggie a long time before I did, had I the knowledge of
what goes on behind the scenes in the food industry. I liked Moby's
points, and they were a help for me convincing my family to let me go
veggie, but in the end the self control to actually become a vegetarian was
my own. Any questions or comments?

Oh,man! i just got done reading all of those responses to thanks 2 and
flesh.................................................hmmmmmm...............
..........most of you surprised me with your open-mindedness on a subject I
usually get brow-beaten on. I don't think i'll talk about this anymore. I
realize now that people are able to rationalize any behavior, no matter how
cruel. Cows are kept in cages barely big enough to hold them-let alone
move around. People who work in "livestock production"(VERY pc name for
this barbary) do cruel and unusual things to the poor animals that would
make you sick. I have read books on the subject and have heard stories
about this. People throw live baby chickens into meat grinders to feed the
other animals. One of my friends knew a guy who worked at a
slaughterhouse, and he said some of the guys would take perverse pleasure
in torturing the animals before finally killing them. If you pay for meat,
you directly support animal cruelty of the most atrocious kind. I say
don't pay for something if you don't believe in it. As for having to get
new friends etc., will power is created out of thin air--you can do
anything you want if you decide it is right.
As for people who think this topic has gotten too far away from Moby, I
would bet anything he would be more impressed with our discussions on moral
issues than he ever could be by listing hard-to-find moby tracks. I have
nothing against anything posted here, but i like to get into deep matters
from time to time. As i said, this is my final word on the subject. I
hope it at least got one person thinking.................
On the subject of thanks 2, I was very encouraged by the enthusiasm for the
idea. Maybe if I(and possibly some one else) can do the whole DAT thing,
and ryu can do the cd/copyright thing, and we all do some tracks, we could
do one every year. I'm sure a few people who did the first one are smiling
saying "Just try one and see if you ever want to do it again", but you
people don't know how much i love producing, writing, anything to do with
music. It's not all fun, but I love a challenge. Lets keep kickin' around
ideas.
Sorry for the heavy content, but a good dose of the truth only hurts you if
you let it.
