A doublepack 12" including all the mixes from both PL12 and PXL12 promos
will be released in the UK on 14 September.
If you live outside the UK the best place to get this - and all the other
UK formats of Honey, plus all Moby's other Mute releases - is MuteBank.
Their prices are good, delivery is quick and it cuts out the middleman so
Mute get more money to continue to release Moby's (and the rest of their
roster's) records. We would recommend that you check out their prices
before buying elesewhere as the only Mute releases they don't stock are
the promos. Support independent record labels! E-mail
mutebank@mutelibtech.com, or check out www.mutelibtech.com/mute/

G'day ppl!
Found a rather interesting Moby record today...
Moby - Everything is Wrong, Non-Stop DJ Mix by Evil Ninja Moby.
It's a double cd with many of the Everything is wrong songs remixed by
other people like, Westbam and Josh Wink... For all of you who loved
(and still do) the Everything is Wrong album, should check this out....
in the meantime...if anyone suddenly should have the urge to post a list
of Moby songs (or other bands) who make music like Go, Feeling so Real,
Everytime you touch me, move, etc,etc....then I would really appriciate
it....thx in advance...=)
btw...u who are interested in online games, try SubSpace at
"http://subspace.vie.com"...damn fun..=) (be sure to make your victory
tune, Moby tho)

I've not seen it either. If it's on the web, and written in English, I would
have seen it by now. It will turn up one of these days. If I come across it
I'll let you know.
Does anyone know what sources of feedback Mute uses to decide whether to
release promo-only items? The idea I get is that they have the regular
release plus some extras for DJs, etc. If the promo-only stuff gets played
at clubs or get good reviews from "important" people, they put it out for
commercial release. If you look you might notice that most mixes are
released officially. Every once in a while, not. I wonder what happened with
Hymn? The promo mixes were released (on CD, anyway) in Germany only. I can't
imagine these b-sides flopping w/ US DJs, though, esp. Upriver & Dirty Hypo.
Maybe they were just stupid about releases, like Elektra was about
promotion? Did Hymn not come off well when it was released? I can imagine
the choir (chior?) putting people off in This Is My Dream.
Then again, Moby always surprises. He's always shocking somebody. So far, I
haven't seen people very enthusiatic about Honey. AR wasn't accepted at
first, either. But I love Honey. It kicks ass. It fuckin rules. There. Can
anyone remember a time when you went to buy some NEW Moby and got just what
you expected? Somehow I think it's unlikely. The only time I've been
disappointed after 2 listens was w/ James Bond Theme. Sorta different,
though, ya dig?
Somebody reply and ramble, please.

That EIW vinyl is here:

Use the search in the lower left!
This place is cool, they've got Ambient on vinyl. They have an ATINITBL 7",
Hymn remixes (yes the good ones) on 12", and Ultimate Go on CD (<--ATTN Mike
D), 2 other Go CDs. The FSR Limited is just the UK CD #2, so don't get
worked up. They have the I Feel It cassingle, and a some recent VC singles
on CD & vinyl.

I like it, too. But if you hadn't heard it yet, and you just finished w/
Move, can't you imagine people being put off when they hear that it's
gospel, or churchy? In techno? I don't have Disk, it won't work on my CPU
anyway. Actually, it prolly would, but I'm not gonna bother. I'm in this for
the tunes, man, I could care less about videos and multimedia.
Yahooey, I'm getting hymn.alt.quiet.version. It's about time. Has anyone
ordered from Mutebank recently? I'm going to get my Honey CDs from there and
EIW w/ UW, and I was curious if they're sending out any extras besides the
Honey sticker. I want that for my turntable lids. Plop it down next to Move.

What's wrong with JBT? I don't know about anyone else, but I thought it
rocked. When it first came out, I listened to it all the time. Maybe it's
just cause I like the Bond series and the theme song in the first place, but
I liked Moby's version of it. It's better, I think, than LTJ Bukem's
version, which bears no resemblance to the original at all. I think JBT's
probably in my personal Moby Top Ten list as well. Tell me what you think.

I don't care for the original all that much, that's where we differ. I do
enjoy Moby's rework, his touches are nice. But since I don't like the song
in the first place it's just cool noise for me. I listened to the Danny
Tenaglia mix a couple of times and didn't care for it. I like Bolland's,
it's nice. I didn't like the LSG one much, either, but I don't go for that
type o' thing. I haven't heard that one in a while, tho, maybe I should give
it another chance. Overall, what I heard just left me dry. I haven't heard
about 50 percent of them tho. I'm curious what the Grooverider one sounds
like. Too bad I don't have sound on this computer.

It's OK. I like the origional JBT just because I used to love James Bond
way back when I was a little kid. But the Moby remix it just too
conventional for me to appreciate it that much. It sounds like any
standard techno remix would. It doesn't have that Moby origional feel to it.

If you're wondering why someone named Michael Halcyon posted a message to
this list regarding me, it's because he made the mistake of sending me
e-mail spam. He apparently copied Mobility's subscriber list for his own
commercial purposes. I did not request his message, and I consider other
people's advertising at my expense to be a form of theft, so I reported him
to his administrators at tiac.net as is my custom. If he did nothing wrong,
he would have had no reason to protest this wildly...
I'm sorry that he felt a need to air his dirty laundry on this list in an
