She goes by the name Evol Twin, I was surprised to hear anyone
mention Xorcist because I'm good friends with Bat, we host his
site http://www.cyberden.com on our server for RFU, he's preparing
for some more live shows this year- if you get a chance go see it!
Firebreathing dancers, gothic electronic heaven, loads of cool
video and computer graphics at the shows...we help out with
a projector doing live cthugha sometimes, if you are not farmiliar
with CTHUGHA you have to check it out, search on it...it's free.
IT's a psychedelic grpahics program that goes to the music you play.

Actually, the last two times I've seen him he has played two
new songs which were certainly techno dance tracks
"i need you" and something else I never heard...
both sound like they would fit well on his first album, similar
to drop a beat and ah-ah.
He's been playing "i need you" since the 95 EIW tour, I'd be
willing to bet that's on the new album. It's a great, classic Moby
track!

I have to agree that Moby's most recent material hasn't been invigorating
but it has been entertaining. Call me a sucker but I loved The James
Bond Theme... his Blur remix was imaginative and peaceful... the
unreleased Metallica tune was bravery at its best... and I've been
intrigued by the mutations that seeped forth from The End Of Everything
project. My list could go on and on.
There's lots to smile about.
Now I'm waiting for the next album and hoping that it'll knock my off my
feet like the Everything Is Wrong CD did. Like everyone, I can't wait for
the next bomb that Moby will unleash.
As for Ultra Nate: good stuff but I can't quite recommend it. The
domestic (US) is a bit more expensive but you get 11 TRACKS (Yow!) and
some fresh remixes.

yeah, you are right...i am being quite selfish and expect
alot. but i can't help it really. when you grow up
listening to someone's music, and being affected by it
in so many ways...you want that to keep happening forever.

Subject: (mobility) Mobility party
Hey everyone!
Is anyone else interested in throwing a mobility list party???
I can only speak for myself here, but if we DO have one, I think it should be
someplace one could DRIVE To, just 'cuz I don't think I could afford a plane
ticket to Hawaii.
(even though that WOULD be DOPE!)
Late all!
Peace,
Dan Lee
P.S. I just bought lopez why can't it stop, and it is awesome! The songs do
end a little abruptly, but man, they're cool.
Question: I was under the impression that DJ Cake was another Moby pseudonym,
now I've read that Cake is actually a 19 year old DJ signed on to Trophy.
Anyone?
P.P.S. I must be the only one who found ILTS incredibly gut wrenching. That
album is SUCH an emotional experience for me. It's different than EIW, AR, or
EOE, but I don't see it as less in any way.

That would be fun. Feasibility? Probably subnil. We're from all over
the world, we've got young'uns who don't have cars, etc. I do love this
community though, as Steve pointed out. It's really nice. And I love it
when we're off topic from Moby every once in a while. It shows that we're
real, and helps to justify that our lives aren't just about Moby and email
'cause that would be pitiful indeed. (I do love both those things though,
don't get me wrong. Life would just be so much more horrible w/out either).

I really enjoy that album - I love how it's so eclectic and a lot of great
Moby songs are on that. Love Theme - one of his best ambients. Grace -
found it repetetive at first, now I find it powerful. Oil 1 - same as
Grace, but in a different way of course. ILTS - love the 70's pimp sound.
I could go on but I have a paper to write.
