Great!!! I'm a Bjork junkie, and would like them to work together. She
recorded her last CD here in Spain, and there's a song with Raimundo
Amador (an Spanish guitarrist), that is cool. The name is "So broken".

Bjork Yorke. For Moby, I was thinking maybe a movie star or a a supermodel.
I don't think another musician, though. Look how terrible Sonny & Cher were.

So are you saying you want someone else to call?
DO IT ! DO IT !
If it's not moby and he wants to mess with your head
(be sure to ask that what time were you born question, that
should clentch it)
If he's joking around and you don't appreciate it,
I have this "special" program I haven't felt mean enough to
use in years called "the beeper reaper"
What it does (on our T1) is call a bank of beepers in sequential
order (even in other area codes) and leaves any number you
want, rendering your phone line useless for some time.
It can do like ten thousand beepers in a few hours.
OK, I'm mean...forget it. I should reserve that for somebody
who really deserves it.....
sorry for being mean

Subject: (mobility) Moby and The Clash
Its been a while since I've posted, but I found something in the NME today.
It says that a Clash tribute album is coming out in August with Moby doing a
cover of "Straight to Hell." I love that song...its about Amer-asian kids
left behind in Vietnam after their American fathers went back to the US. In
my opinion, they should just have an album where people cover Clash songs
ONLY from the 'London Calling' album and place the songs in the same order.
Moby would be great for songs like "Brand New Cadillac" and "Train in Vain."
In other Music questioning, this is a longshot question, I will be
travelling to the UK this July and will be one of the lucky Americans to
attend the Phoenix Festival which features The Prodigy, Bentley Rhythm Ace,
Spritualized, Sonic Youth, Catherine Wheel, Travis, The Jesus and Mary
Chain, Run DMC, and a reunited New Order. About 30+ bands total with more
being added daily. Will anyone from this list be in attendance as well as
myself? American or European or whatever?

Weren't you the one who started the whole Iammoby thing anyway?
Hmm...someone chat's with Iammoby online who gives out a phone number of a
friend. Then someone calls that number and it happens to be one of your
friends. So do you and Moby hang out with the same people or are you
actually Moby himself as well?

This is interesting, very interesting. As I'm sure you ALL saw several months ago,
maybe a year ago, I posted about how when I played "What Love" for my little sister
the first time, and I asked her to guess who it was (before the singing started),
she guessed Ministry. Anyways, it just goes to show, all Moby fans are also Ministry
fans!!! (I say that with a cynical tone of voice.) RRR aka delobbo

This song is from the album "Combat Rock". The song is a social statement
about how American troops in Vietnam who met women there and had kids then
left the kids behind and rejected them. 'London Calling' will go down in my
books as one of the best albums ever made. Its so diverse and perfect from
ska to punk to rockabilly to pre-manchester. A wonderful full-out rock album
from start to finish.
Scheduled to appear on the collection are: 311 ("White Man in Hammersmith
Palais"), Bush ("Janie Jones"), Frosted ("Garageland"), Goldfinger ("Spanish
Bombs"), The Mighty Mighty Bosstones ("Rudie Can't Fail"), Moby with Heather
Nova ("Straight to Hell"), Rancid ("Cheat") and a few still-unconfirmed
contributions from the Brian Setzer Big Band, Hank Williams Jr., Social
Distortion, Tricky, Ice Cube w/Mack 10, Tom Waits w/ Flea, Primal Scream,
and Leonard Cohen.
And like I mentioned before with my posting regarding the Phoenix Festival,
I just read that Moby will be performing on Sunday night of the festival!
How coincidental! Maybe I can meet him there, he'll be suprised. I've met
him in Chicago several times as well as Michigan. I can imagine...he'll see
me and be like "What are you doing here?"
>"...impeccably bred..."
>Where's your carrots, doc?
I thought, its time to turn over a new leaf and use some other quote. The "I
Love Carrots" has been classic for several years, but I will resurrect it if
I get enough requests, but for now, the line influenced by Suede's "The
Young Men" will suffice.
