I really respect Moby to have BALLS and say and do what he wants. I
thought what he did was clever, but that's just my opinion. Even though
I'm on the other party, I personally mean no disrespect for the
republican party for liking this. That was Moby's opinion and I do
think it was done very artistically. I don't think Moby did it to prove
himself or anyone anything. HAVE A LITTLE SENSE OF HUMOR, PLEASE!!!

ONLY?!?!!?!? That's like saying I just bought a car for
ONLY $2000!!!!!! I ONLY have Rare/Go, ILTS, and 2 90-min. tapes! one
of em is EIW/(first 10 on EU) and the other is a big mix that andrea
gave me. So i only have 2 moby cds (3 if u count Go remixes)!!!!!!!!
ONLY 15....PAH!!!
(still panting loudly)...sorry, guess i'm just jealous. I'm only 14
and don't have the budget to buy imports/things not on sale. Plus I
cant find any moby singles (or MOVE) around here anyway, dammit!
My mom said she couldn't imagine a whole album of go remixes...i have
to admit that that cd was pretty...um...let's see what's the

Bah, I forgot about Hymn (alt.quiet.version) and Voodoo Child -- Higher, as
well as appearances on the compilations Rave Generation and Thin Ice 2 (both
Go, can't remember the mixes though). My excuse is that I'm tired and I
don't have the CDs to hand right now. :)
So that's 13 separate purchases for a total of 15 CDs :)

Totally off-topic for this list, but apparently the On video was directed by
none other than Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker...

Subject: (mobility) Get your Instinct singles!
I am currently shopping at CDnow, where they have a pretty incredible
sale going on: 30% off of the exorbitant (usually > $17) list prices
and $10 off of any order of $20 or more until Monday afternoon!
Looking in the Moby section, I can hardly believe my eyes. The great
old Instinct CD singles for "Go", "Drop A Beat", and "Next Is The E"
are available once more, and cheap, too! I can only assume that they
have been rereleased, since they've been out of print and rare for a
long time.
Moby techno fans, "Next Is The E" is a classic that you *must* have.
Also, the "Go" single is definitely worth getting, for the Rainforest
Mix if nothing else. These singles are only $5.49 each, and I highly
recommend them.
Also, FYI the magnificent US Move EP is $8.49, the Disk E-CD is $9.99,
and the Revolver singles are just $7.49 each. This is an uncommon
opportunity, and you should jump on it before it's gone if you don't
already have all these releases.

That's a collection to be proud of! You ARE the man!
What are some of the more rare titles, I'd love to see your list
if it doesn't bore anyone else...
I counted up mine and only came to 23, nothing out of the ordinary
though. The only thing I have that no one has mentioned is the
Recoil- Faith Healer (Barracuda Mix) on the Faith Healer CD single.

Cool! that was you! I remember that clearly, what a trip.
It WAS a great show and his energy was intense, but he did mention
being upset by the promoters also because of the HIGH ticket prices...
Man were they bad, $35 - what did other people pay for Big Top in
thier areas???? And it was just a scummy old warehouse...
But I loved it anyway, that was my first time seeing System 7 and
Banco De Gaia who happened to be two of my other favorites!
Please tell us what the set list said about the unreleased songs
that he played...I beleive there were three of them.

I didn't see the obvious, I thought that was a very simple, sensible,
analogy you had...I didn't think anyone would have anything to
argue about that.
I know how it is to go off topic a bit and accidentally spark heated
debates, I think I single handedly destroyed the neighborly feeling
on the Orbital mailing list by starting a war over people who whistle
at concerts, it was WWW III for awhile, now it's deathly silent.
I think everyone on this list has much lower average blood pressure.

you can look up what aired on Mtv in a library? wow... if that's true
i should look for amp airings, cos i have some gaps in my webpage...
anyway, actually, 120 minutes has aired some pretty cool stuff, including
"yulunga" by dead can dance. how's _that_ for out of place?

All of the staff have the opportunity to change the required number of any
disc. So if it's set to 3, then there should always be 3 copies on hand
etc. We have AR(us), EIW & Move. We didn't even get ILTS-but then again
no-one's asked for it either. Industrial's extremely popular, same with dub
& DnB....there *should* be a market for Moby, but I just don't think people
know about him....

I for one am not deliberately clogging your mailbox with anything. You
joined a M-A-I-L-I-N-G list. That means that you get *e-mail* sent to you.
It doesn't mean that we're all sitting at our respective cpu's saying "let's
clog up this little fuckers mailbox"....You probably should have kept the
message telling you how to unsubscribe when you joined.
So. Instead of bitching out a bunch of people you don't know, how about
coming up with a productive topic of discussion that's related to Moby?
With the lack of a new release, and the length of time this list has been
running there's bound to be a little digression...
