  279. hi..!! well ok he played more rock...but that was just because his new album
  280. animal rights.. so i can understand.. but when he played his techno stuff
  281. from like "everything is wrong"  the crowd went wild...everyone was dancing
  282. and just loving it..Moby puts on a great show too..he knows how to dance and
  283. get into what hes doing. HE was playing some wierd bonga things and also
  284. Xylaphone.  It was great sound.     I was impressed.   He definently needs to
  285. stop putting out stuff like AR cause alot more people just love his techno
  286. and that style music.

  299. alright...well he played more punk...obviously cause he was putting on the
  300. show for his AR cd..  but when he put on techno stuff the crowd went
  301. wild...everyone absolutly loved it:) i mean it was just so more meaningful...
  302. even though it was a concert not a rave.., he should of played a lot more
  303. techno..  But, i wrote some more about the experience in another post... so

  337. Seems like there is a definite trend of Moby losing his desire to make
  338. electronic music.  I really like Why Can't it Stop? and I think Emptiness
  339. is pretty good.  I now hear that Sugar Baby is the worst of the bunch..
  340. Hmmm.

  342. Then I read on the AOL transcript that Moby hasn't abandoned electronic
  343. music.  Is this an indication that he feels compelled to go back to
  344. techno?

  346. I got the feeling from the AOL chat that he really feels that Animal Rights
  347. was a mistake.  I guess a lot of people don't like it (I happen to love it
  348. except for the explicit lyrics that weren't necessary).  I feel sorry for him,
  349. he took a big chance and now he says that releasing a classical/punk
  350. album was his biggest mistake.

  352. I honestly thought Animal Rights was going to put him into the big time.
  353. I guess it just didn't happen.

  355. I sure hope he doesn't try to force techno if he doesn't really want to do
  356. it.  It'll be interesting to see which direction Moby finally decides to go.

  458. from like "everything is wrong"  the crowd went wild...everyone was dancing
  459. and just loving it..Moby puts on a great show too..he knows how to dance and

  737. music...Think about his ideology..and then think about what making
  738. music...touring...etc does to that...Looking at it this way..I view the
  739. whole MTV flak as minimal(Besides..Consolidated had a vid on MTV(at

  770. think that moby has a whole lot of control over the market like that.
  771. releasing singles and various versions of albums is pretty much left to
  772. the record executives i think.

  913. disc with less than so many minutes.. and there are all these stupid
  914. rules... plus they are all done (singles, remixes, etc) are done at
  915. different times..

  1026. was just starting to emerge as a place for Moby fans to talk, rather
  1027. than simply being yet another spam-to group, when this Mobility
  1028. list was formed.  I don't think it has been removed, and it is
  1029. impossible to entirely eradicate it from ever server even if some
  1030. one tried.  But it hasn't been used much, so its availability is
  1031. not very good.
