in I-87. IT is 6:00, It is 11:00.
Its a 5 hour drive exactly.

Hey!
The date that came in my ming after reading all your messages was the last
Saturday of June, means 27th.
If Ivan is not available, it could be the week after.
We don't talk about the deposit now, we don't talk about booking your
vacation, we just talk about getting this show started properly with our
requests.
As soon as I have a confirmation of our requests, I'll write you a public
message.

Tom,
I will have to go back thru my email and find my source.
More on that later.
I was told though, that the Ivan tape didn't sound as good as the
Duran tape for some reason. If I recall correctly, you said in your
original post about this that the Duran tape didn't sound as good as
the Ivan tape.
I'm still not certain if we're talking about two pairs of tapes or
the same one.

I have an idea - let's all go to Mikey's for a few days, then fly to
Montreal on those low airfares out of Gatwick. ;-)
Mikey, you and I could go to the Spanish Galleon for lunch and then
eat feast bars all night while watching SP movies! Sound like fun?

heehee...if i'm flying all the way to london...it'll take wild horses to pull
me away...even Ivan would be a tough sell, hon;)
welp, so far the best quote i've got for a non-stop is an air canada flight
for the dates i want (june 25 to july 19) for about $641....i really need BIG
TIME tips on places to stay in Montreal...i've been instructed to avoid the
Village (whatever THAT is) like the plague...i know that there are plenty of
well-seasoned Montrealers here, and any info would be dearly appreciated:)
my real goal is to find a decent BnB in downtown, where i do not have to pay
more than $75(CAN) (which i think is about $50-ish in US $$) per night, as i
am looking at a shade over a 3-week stay:) (this was originally going to be
two weeks in Montreal, and one week in Toronto, but will do Toronto next year)
but if worse comes to worse, i might be persuaded to trim it down to a 2-week
stay....it all depends on what i can find
help me out here, hatters!
thanks,
Charlotte

This is understandable. However, just to show you I would never have allowed a
potentially amateurish opening to even be considered for this show, check out
my brother's band's website:

This will give you an idea of what they are doing lately in the world of
independent label recording and touring. AND, the people who take care of his
website actually update it when necessary.

Taxes are hitting hard this year, so it looks like airfare to Montreal
is out of my reach. It's about a 21-hour drive from Minnesota to
Montreal. Is there anyone in Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania,

a Sunbird, so it's not exactly spacious, but we could change cars if
yours is larger.

certain points of the video with little quips or tidbits of information. I
caught on tape the Safety DAnce video mnus the first 2 seconds or so. I
think it woudl make a nice addition to a new video collection, so someone in
the US with a better VCR than I should tape it if it happens to repeat,
which I am sure it will. Prolly tonight around 5ish I think it's gonna
repeat.
Things I learned from watching this show:
There's a power line in the backround of the video
Ivan was born in Urbana, IL.
Ivan said the name of the band "Just popped into his head"
Safety Dance is NOT a reference to safe sex
The band broke up because it "got greedy"
The video was shot in rural England
The band was in NYC rehearsing for the ROY tour when the video was shot.
Well, that's all I have to say or now. If anyone with a spiffy VCR can, GET
IT ON TAPE! I am sure the rest of the list would like to see it.
