OUtta curiousity, how come no one has turned the MWH music videos into
MPEGs? Holdman had a good idea when he put together that FTP site with all
sorts of music videos, how come that can't be mimiced or brought back?

Does anybody know anything about Voivod? It's a group that Ivan
worked with. He only helped on one song but I was wondering if it was any
good.
Also, has anybody heard Rationaly Youth? Are they any good?
One more thing....Can we get the actual CD of Colin Doroschuk...of
the songs on the MP3 site?

Voivod is a Canadian "prog-thrash-metal" band - as far from MWH as you =
can get, i suppose ;-)
Ivan helped out with the lyrics for the song "Nanoman" on their eighth =
album, "Negatron" (1995).

I know them pretty well. I directed 4 videoclips for Voivod in the late 80's.
I kind of introduced Ivan and Voivod to each other. Ivan and Michel Langevin
(drummer and "concepter" for Voivod) are good friends and have collaborated to
each others projects pretty often (at least 2 Voivod albums and one MWH).
> Also, has anybody heard Rationaly Youth? Are they any good?
They are great. Their first LP is available on CD and is worth the expense for
any techno lover. BTW, Kevin Komoda (from Rational Youth) is now a full time
collaborator of Ivan on the Ultimate Pop Machine.

Both of Colin's albums are available on CD directly from UFORIA official web

Quick question.
Has anyone ordered merchandise from Laura (the CD and t-shirt?) If so how
is it. I sent her a check and am waiting wtih great anticipation.
Also, does anyone know if she went out of town recently because I sent the
check over a week ago and haven't heard either confirmation of its arrival
or that it never made it.
Thanks,
Charlie

Don't worry...she is reliable, but very busy.

Just to clarify, I'm not really worried about being burnde by Laura
because she has been the most incredible sweetheart in holding my stuff
while I was going through some difficult financial situations. I was just
worried about hearing from her about whether the check had gotten there or
not because I don't trust the wonderful US postal service. (just don't
tell my aunt who in fact is a postal worker) Anyway, that's the only
reason I wondered if she had gone out of town, because I know she's
busy but I hadn't heard yet and it'd been awhile. Thanks for some input
about how the stuff turned out. I'm really anxious to get it.
Thanks
charlie

Hi everyone!
Yes I have been out of town. My dad just had a triple bypass. Sorry
I didn't get a chance to drop Charlie a line, but his check arrived
the day I left.
For those of you who have been sending me checks and have not yet
gotten your stuff (Nick Pinto is probably really po'd - I have your
check) - I am not cashing them until I have sent the CD &/or T-shirt.
I am sorry to have been so remiss in my distributorship, but never
fear, your stuff will get sent.

Subject: (hats) MWH CD-R Stuff Now Available On MiniDiscs
Date: 26 Nov 1998 00:52:19 -0500 (EST)
I have the material from all but the two most recently available CD-Rs
arranged in a little bit better manner on 6 MiniDiscs. If you're
interested in getting this stuff in this format, let me know.
The "Live Ivan" MiniDisc contains the June 14, 1997 performance
recorded at Lee's Palace in Toroto followed by the audio from
Tom Norman's concert video taped in Montreal on July 19, 1997
followed by the soundcheck material recorded earlier that same day.
This particular copy of the Lee's Palace show sounds better than
the actual CD from whence it originates because I've upped the pitch
a bit to make it more true to life. The CD is, disappointingly,
mastered at the wrong speed (a bit too slow). Such is what you
get when working with cassette tapes, however, as that medium uses
no means whatsoever to automatically adjust to the correct playback
pitch - unlike VHS tape which uses tracking.

previous unreleased Ivan material will be released. Colin is producing it.

Even though it's supposedly an inside joke, I understand it. I am moving to

not get on that road here... the Hats list has already suffered since the
