  29. Yep. I agree. But he is still 30, and was 30 at the beginning of the series.

  32. If all that stuff happened to me in 6 months, I would be in that brewery so
  33. fast you wouldn't have time to finish one beer. (hence living vicariously
  34. through fiction!)

  49. I had a few problems with the sci-fi twist also, but got in the spirit of
  50. the thing, since Pular Singe was such a sweet literary tidbit. I'm hoping
  51. that Cook will rethink the ending the series since there has been a lot
  52. of interest.  I'm hoping that is the explanation of why there is almost
  53. too much to be resolved in one book.

  55. Like the unknown and uninvolved Katie.  Usually when Cook introduces one
  56. of Garret's babes, she tends to have a  major contribution to the plot. 
  57. Since she in no way influences the mystery or outcome, he must be saving
  58. her for the next one. Tinnie, Maya, Belinda, even Linda Lee figured in
  59. immediately, at least peripherally. Katie seemed to have nothing to do
  60. with the plot.
