I agree with Michael W Sweet. I would prefer to have the early Dominatio=

history remain shrouded. I like the mystery better than any details that=
might
be flushed up.
I would prefer to have a Black Company tale concerning a part of the Anna=
ls where
we know very little.
Something like the Battle of Bake or the Campaign against Chew.

From what was written in Soldiers Live, the lay of the land on any other
shadow gate was the same, as if the structure of the worlds were all the
same but they were just different dimensions. So if some way is thought u=
p
to open some of the other gates safely, that would be a good thing. Unles=
s
the shadows got through them too and ate those worlds. This could work
because Croaker got to be shivetya and what he always wanted by way of
turning into a super historian.

I think - it will be interesting to read about Dominator and Lady, and first
taken, maybe about first White Rose. But, I think, there are no many
interesting read about Black Company previous years - usual mercenary's life :)
It will be interesting read Annals of other Hatovar's troop's, or about past of
Tree (from "White Rose", "Silver Spike").

Subject: (glencook-fans) Just finished re-reading Darkwar...
You know, every time the Darkwar trilogy is mentioned on this list it seems
that it is getting bashed as one of Glen Cook's weakest works, but I just
finished reading it for the 2nd or 3rd time and I was reminded again how
much I liked it, particularly the ending.
Does anyone else agree with me? I don't want to say exactly *why* I liked
the ending for fear of spoilers, but I am interested in hearing what the
group has to say.
(and now I'm starting my 2nd read of the Starfishers trilogy)
