Have you checked the joint between the front pipe and silencer on your
exhaust, or for any holes in the silencer. This is a more likely cause of
backfire on the overrun if the bike is running well apart from the bangs

Subject: (dr350) DR ergonomics...
..anyone else feel hunched over standing up on the pegs on the dirt-DR?? The
seat/bar/pegs seem wrong for standing.. great for sitting. I want to stand
more to let my legs soak up the ruts... Iv'e seen Thumpers Goliath Gear bar
elevators.. it looks ugly... I'm using Renthal Jimmy Button High bars, they
helped alot.. I'm 6 foot. Anyone other taller DR riders do any mods???
