this part is easy...yes, you need a y connector...routing the leftside petcock is kind of tricky...

I threw out my directions so if you can't get someone on the list that retained there's get in touch
with Acerbis...there fit kit involves taking out the top engine mount and replacing the bolts with kit
bolts and rubber biscuits in a configuration that allows the tank to fit over those newly installed
biscuits...I'm sorry for not being able to be more specific I'm just going from memory...they also
have you remove the rubber piece from the underside of the seat that rests on the tank...

Claudio,
My bike is loaded with the parts you mention.
It sounds like you need the mounting hardware for your Acerbis. You can
use a 't' connector from an auto parts store to connect the two
petcocks. Make sure the connector is fairly close to the carb so it
will flow, it can be a tedious job to get right. The mounting brackets
mount to the upper engine mounts, hard to describe as Kurt mentioned. I
have the WB Power -Up kit the hard way, bought all the parts separate
just before the kit came out. The carb is not a pumper, it is a
FlatSlide Mikuni. I went straight to 385 with the oversize headpipe and
SuperTrapp racing exhaust. This produces a big boost in power, I believe
the Megalloy or BigGun exhaust would be even better, You can get the
Megalloy sized to fit the header, other brands may need mods, also they
do sell a pumper carb if that is what you want. The oversize header
looks exactly like stock only larger and has mounting tabs for the stock
head shield. I had to do a lot of jetting to get it right, maybe the kit
carb is better. Ignore the bike mags, they consistently put down Suzukis
in general.

Claudio, sounds like you are a wild man with this wheelie stuff. If you can wait a few
weeks I will mail you a Thumper Racing catalog a current model. I feel thier stuff is
more reliable or you can get more for your money. The 435 kit is 245.00 with this you
can lift the front wheel in fourth. the megamax or performax is better than the
megaloy. They are just finishing up thier catalog now I do however have a 97 I could
send you if I had your mailing address. Jesse

Mark, how goes the battle I don't think you need to be concerned with the t
vent with the pumper I have been over serious rough stuff without a sign of
a hiccup. I believe this is only inherent to the cv carb. You probably won't
have a plug on the pumper and with the carb off you can turn it upside down,
remove the stock needle and install the tee handle one and see if the recess
tube keeps it from seating. Its pretty straight forward. how is every thing
else going together. one thing to keep in mind the rubber manifold for your
cv is probably too large for the pumper if you got a kit it should be
included along with the push pull cables? Keep me posted on your progress.

CONCERNING ACERBIS TANK
Yes, I have one...
As Kurt said,
yes it is really easy to instal the "y" connector , tricky part is to route
the hoses to the carb.
Concerning installation, I still have the diagram and instructions that came
with my Acerbis Tank Kit (in case you want a copy, let me know). You do have
to exchange some bolts/nuts from the engine/frame with the ones that come
with the kit and install the so called rubber biscuits.
Following "guys from the list" advices I changed my metal tank for this
Acerbis (they said it would get dented easily), after the first time I fell
I thought it was really worth the U$200 I paid for it here in Brazil.

(sorry for the translation;) )
Hello. I have seen in a Spanish magazine that suzuki is preparing a new o=

specialized, it will no longer be so good "dual-sport" (this tells it the
magazine)... it will possibly be like a WR400... radical.
But there are more news: Suzuki is also preparing two new Trail bikes, ba=

on the motors Twin of the Suzuki SV650(75 CV) and of TL1000S(135 CV). May=
be
soon we do see a new trail (as the Africa Twin) of Suzuki, with about 60-=
65
CV (light?)... and a SUPERVARADERO with about 115-120 CV (this I don't
believe that it is very slight: ()
When I have more news I will warn you
Do you know something more envelope the new one DR400 (pics, reviews...)?
Bye.

IMS has a bad habit of overestimating the capacity of their fuel tanks. In a
conversation I had with them, they told me that the KLR tank would hold 7
gallons. When I got it, it barely held 5 gallons. I think Acerbis makes the
biggest tank for the DR350 at 4.25 (a true 4.25, I tested it) gallons.

Hi,
I'd like to give my bike a boost. I'm not sure I want to go to
Thumper's 435 yet since my bike only has 600 miles on it. I'm
thinking that I should go with White Brother's 377 or 385 with
10.5:1 piston and all-around cam. Then in 2 to 4 years move up
to the 435 if I want more power. I think I'd get more life out
of the engine that way. Comments...
The 377 is 82mm and the 385 is 83mm (stock is 79). I'm concerned
that the 385 might leave the jug too thin. Would the extra 1mm
of the 377 buy me any meaningful protection?
Megacycle doesn't offer a CAM for the '98 DR350SE. WB's lists
its all-around cam specs at .335 inch lift and 240 degree duration
for both intake and exhaust. Does anyone know what stock is?
