Jesse,
Your correct again, The DR350 "S" models 1990 thru 1996 used a 2 piece rear hub that had a rubber cushion drive incorporated into it, and the sprocket bolt pattern was different than the dirt only models. Then the 1997 thru 1999 "S" models came with the non-cushioned one piece hub that are the same as the dirt only DR's 1990 thru 1999, and the sprockets will interchange. Yes, I have also had problems ordering the rear sprockets, as most of the aftermarket catalogs do not show the later DRS models as taking the same sprocket as the Dirt Model.
Jesse, were you taking notes? Hope you learned as much as I when we were lying to each other for two days and nights. Norm

The bulb is good and so are the front and rear brake light switches as well as the wiring to the light itself. All other lights on the bike work fine. What am I missing here? My headlight is working but no taillight. The only thing I can think of that might have caused the problem is that I normally remove the front and rear turn signal stalks when I ride off road. When I put the stalks back on this weekend, I still had a problem.

I don't think so. The reports I have read suggest the new DR400 is 291 lbs light. I heard they are makeing three versions of the bike. On street model, (heavy), the enduro (about 260) and the motocross ( about 240). Now the added horse power will lighten things up a bit. Why can't they simply take the motocross version and put lights on it? Also, I have read when the radiator collects mud, it no longer cools. Now I know most of us, don't like going into the thick stuff, but if I just happened to be in it, I don't need extra strife in my life. Any way thats what I found out. Ha, by the time you get this, the news will be out.

I am running MT21s on my 94 350SE. Last dual sport ride that I did, I accidentally let too much pressure out of my front tire -- down to 10psi! I had no replacement air other than a full fill CO2, so I decided to risk it. I was on some very rocky uphill terrain at times running as fast as 30mph. Standard tube in the tires (not extra duty ones unfortunately) + rim locks. However, I managed to not pop the tube. It also seemed to help incredibly well when hooking up on loose dirt and gravel roads we encountered. Not to bad on pavement either (even at 65mph).
Anyone had any exp. w/ tube popping at particular pressures on MT21s? Want to make sure that I am not "playing with fire" before I try this set up again.
Thanks,
Heston
