  31. I just cleaned the strainer on my bike and there was some dirt on it. I used
  32. compressed air to clean it out. I have a 98DR350SE with 2900 miles on it. As
  33. to whether it's necessary, It's so easy to do I don't see any reason not to
  34. do it. It might have taken me 10 minutes to do the job.

  80. Be careful that what you squirt in your cables does not "harden" (to
  81. prevent fling-off)  like some chain lubes.  If you put that in your cables
  82. they will be worse, not better.  Then you'll have to clean them out by
  83. squirting WD-40 in there, or some other solvent.

  438. The pegs are one inch rearward and not lowered Jesse says, my mistake.    I
  439. could put up a picture but they aren't really ready for showtime,  I need to
  440. grind some corners off... you might ask Jesse how he made them.  I was only
  441. testing them to see if I liked them, but I wouldn't give them back cause I
  442. liked em too much =)

  536. might be driving down to buy a used DR this weekend.

  538. soon as I know some more details, but for right now I
  539. have a transport question.

  541. I will be driving it quite a ways in my Ford Ranger.

  543. 1) I need some type of ramp assmebly.  Is there an
  544. inexpensive way to construct such a device?

  546. 2) What is the recommended scheme for strapping it
  547. down in the bed?  It isn't a long bed but it isnt the
  548. shortest one either (6 feet?)

  550. As you might expect, I would like to do these things
  551. with little expense, but with more than adequate
  552. security.  I'd have to have my new (to me) bike slide
  553. out of the back of the truck at 80mph.  I shudder to
  554. think of it.
