I have a 250 lb friend that installed the Progressive 420 shock on his KLR.
He is 'very' happy with the performance, and the bike looks like a bike in
the back end now again, as opposed to a dog with it's tail between it's legs
while he's sitting on it.  I don't know how the KLR stock spring rate
compares to the DR650 stock spring rate... all I know is that the sag is
gone and the shock performs well for him.

    Having rode my DRZ400S quite a bit----I can just say I don't think it is
a problem with all of them-----cause mine runs so perfect!!!!!

Baja designs will custom make a stianless steel mesh
guard any size for 15.95.

    I've check the fuel mileage on my DRZ400S twice.

1.  57mpg-----just backroad riding trying to break it in.

2.  53mpg-----combination backroading and some pretty technical
trails---actually more technical than I intended on riding.

Even with the 2.6 (total, with reserve) gal. tank it is no problem running
well over 100 miles on a tank. But I do think I will get a plastic tank,
cause I know the pretty blue one is going to get scratched up!!!
