I bought a Baja light kit for my 350 (trying to make it street legal) and
finally got around to getting it installed (by someone else) Well, he is
done, but he informed me over the phone that there is no front brake light
with the kit. Since I broke the stock tail light the first time I rode it, I
can't recall for sure if the front brake light existed stock. Can someone
help me out?
Thanks,
Neill

Subject: (dr) Adjusting "Sag"?
Ric,
When you install the Kouba Links you will need to reset the sag as they change the
progression ratio's on the rear spring. Also we reccomend 2.5" of sag for the best
results and Suzuki reccomends 3.9" with the stock links. The Kouba Link
installation directions on our web-page may be a better explanation.

Yes I have a rear fender coming and will post a photo on my website when I
get it mounted. About the sag I would wait till you get your kouba links as
your sag will change with them on. I usually set the front sag at 1 inch
difference with no weight ( wheel off the ground) to weight with you on it
on the ground. without the kouba links adjust the rear the same way only a 4
inch difference

Thanks for the reply!
I was afraid of that. I was under the impression (per web site) that the kit
I ordered contained all necessary components to street legal it. This was in
Sept or Oct. They have since modified their web page. Do a search for dr350
now, and I get is tank graphics for $49.95. Yeehaw. I called them. They said
that that is a SEPARATE kit (for the front brake light) and requires a
separate harness blah, blah ... I have called VA DMV, VA State Police,,
looked at the VA State Website and haven't gotten a firm requirement, but I
suspect this will be a problem. Just to let the group know. If anyone in VA
(or elsewhere) knows if the front brake light is required I would be
grateful.
