What a neat thing to have in your yard!! Hey, I've always called you
"Connor" is that the wrong pronounciation of your "middle" name?
The list is awfully darn quiet these days! Where is everyone?!?

Let's see, About a third of the shire is home for the summer, Jurgi and
Rand don't go into school in the summer, Landolph is recovering, and so on.
I am just glad there is as much going on as there is.

Hai a Chamilla;
My middle name is the gaelic spelling of Connor. In Gaelic it means
something like "One who loves Hounds." I will galdly answer to Connor, or
the gaelic pronunciation, "Conn-uh" or to Seamas (shay-mus."

I have been driving a tractor and discing down as nasty a patch of thistles
as it's ever been my bad fortune to find. I had hoped to spend this
weekend playing and relaxing, but the guy I wanted to hire to do my discing
never got around to it, after 4 weeks, and the weeds were getting taller

Subject: (cdc) Healthy Living
Date: 07 Jul 1998 13:05:14 -0600
his 85 year old couple, having been married almost 60 years,
had died in a car crash. They had been in good health the last
ten years mainly due to her interest in health food, and exercise.
When they reached the pearly gates, St. Peter took them to their
mansion which was decked out with a beautiful kitchen and master
bath suite and Jacuzzi.
As they "oohed and aahed" the old man asked Peter how much
all this was going to cost.
"It's free," Peter replied, "this is Heaven."
Next they went out back to survey the championship golf course
that the home backed up to. They would have golfing privileges
everyday and each week the course changed to a new one representing
the great golf courses on earth.
The old man asked, "what are the green fees?".
Peter's reply, "This is heaven, you play for free."
Next they went to the club house and saw the lavish buffet
lunch with the cuisines of the world laid out.
"How much to eat?" asked the old man.
"Don't you understand yet? This is heaven, it is free!" Peter
replied with some exasperation.
"Well, where are the low fat and low cholesterol
tables?" the old man asked timidly.
Peter lectured, "That's the best part...you can eat as much as you
like of whatever you like and you never get fat and you never get
sick. This is Heaven."
With that the old man went into a fit of anger, throwing down
his hat and stomping on it, and shrieking wildly.
Peter and his wife both tried to calm him down, asking him what was
wrong. The old man looked at his wife and said,
"This is all your fault. If it weren't for your blasted
bran muffins, I could have been here ten years ago!"

Kris (my 18 year old son) applied at Intermountain last week and

doesn't think she can make it to fighter practice tonight. Lady Isabeau is

We cannot do so because of packing and ?closing? etc. today. (We seriously

Hi Raven; It looks like it will be very pretty when it's done. A couple of
problems, one major, one minor! when I connected to the page, all the
pictures where chopped up; it looked like maybe you had tried to use a wider
screen than was allowed and parts of it got wrapped under.
And the minor one, the doors need labels! I got lost pretty quick. Of
course, part of that was the warped landscape.
Where exactly on the kingdom page is the link? Maybe I just couldn't find
it.

Seamus,
You can get the the shire web page by going to the Artemisia Kingdom
page at alt.xmission.com/~tryggvi and then you click on the section
called "Groups in Artemisia" then arrow down to Cote du Ciel and click
on the URL. I just tried it and it seems to work pretty spiff!

I'm still here, as it were!
The faire at Sommerville was fun. It was hot during the day and cold at
night. We had a bit of rain in the evenings. There was fighting,
dancing, theater, puppets shows, games, archery, fencing, greased pole
climbing and so on! Quite a few non SCA people showed up and we
entertained them. The village is really neat-o and authentic looking!
The populous meeting happened last night and we missed you three there!
