I'm curious to know why gentles of Gryphon's Lair are being put into the
shire's directory? Or is it that they play with cdc and therefore are
claimed as shire members? Or are they just regular visitors that play with
Gyphon's Lair as well?
Just curious,

Even though we live in Gryphon's Lair, we don't play with them and aren't
planning to live here forever. We are currently buying land in Preston Id
and have lived in Logan in the past.
Thanks

It is mainly that there are good people in Gryphons Lair, who do not especially
have the G.L. attitude and are more willing to come and play with us. (Like
yourselves in bygone years.) We will gladly accept them and all are welcome.

Just thought I would let you know I am still alive, here in Seattle.
I, unfortunatly, have not made it to a fighter practice up here,
however. Some of the SCAdians I have met have been very nice,
including His Majesty, Sir Avecal.
Are any of you planning on going to Estrella this year? I'm trying to
figure out if I can go, ect.
Take care, play hard.

P.S. Angus, when I have a more permanent address, I will let you know

Thank you for your well-meant warning, but this is another hoax.
Use you favorite browser and enter: internet virus hoaxes
I got almost 5,000 hits on pages about hoaxes.
One very good site is: http://www.europe.datafellows.com/news/hoax.htm
This site even tells of some attachments that *DO* have a virus or trojan horse.
A good rule of thumb: If you receive a warning like this, check it out at a hoax site. If it appears to be valid then send it on.

I have started an historical costume and costume pattern business. I
apologize for emailing you without personally knowing you, but I saw
your address on a newsgroup posting about patterns/costuming and I was
wondering if you might know the contact information for the following
pattern companies. I wish to carry their patterns retail, but fellow
retailers will not give me the contact information and I couldn't find
it on the patterns, though I did purchase some of them to acquire the
information
I appreciate any information you might give me.
Charlsie "bere" Patterson
The companie's I'm seeking:
Period Patterns
Fantasy Fashions
Costume Connection
Patterns of History
and any others.
I currently have addresses for:
Alter Years
Folkwear
Past Patterns
Wingeo
Rockinghorse Farms
and Smoke and Fire
<if any of these addresses are needed by anyone>
thanks again.
Sorry for what fundamentally amounts to a spam of deperation... I've
been looking for months now.

Think of Cote' du Cielliens putting in at "home" on the Bear River and raiding down
into SLC or up into Idaho.

We could invade Seek Attle and rescue our fair, well not so fair, all
right ugly shire members who have recently been captured. We should
have enough money for the thing after next Harvest War!
Let's Do It!
(I would think of a good Battle Cry, but real men don't cry--just whine
a lot. Maybe, since it is Gilly who brought this up our cry could be
"Go for The Gilly!" or something cool like that)
Have Fun,
Rand

Jugi has a big van. It might even be able to fit inside. Problem
solved.
