From years ago this list have been in english,I would like to get a list
in spanish but I don't think is necesary,I can create another list for=
spanish
speaking but the traffic with this list is very low so I think that in
spanish=20
is going to be the same.
This list has like 80 members maybe more.
Angelyou can introduce your self and everybody will get the post.
I think that way would be better then asking all member to introduce them
selfs

*****Yes, Manuel, but you are supposing that English and Spanish are the
same? Maybee this is, in fact, a bilingual list (as a couple of members
have demonstrated me). But is clear too that I will make language mistakes
writting in English, and I supposse that is no matter.
This list has like 80 members maybe more.

*****Yes, you have the true.
I'm an Argentine flutemaker. I like the musica andina as well as other
music styles. i prefer to say that I'm a flutemaker instead a musician,
because they are two different fields.
I make quenas and other andean winds, but all in a city-fashion. I don't
try to reproduce exactly as they are made in the Altiplano.
On the other hands, we (Mariana my wife and I) make bamboo saxophones and
clarinets. I have devoted a lot of time in the acoustical research of these
kind of no-mechanical flutes.
We sell our instruments in open fairs in Buenos Aires and other Argentine
cities.
I think that they are a lot of things to do with the quena design. For
example, a serious study of bamboo varieties, which include how to prevent
cracks and bugs. (I'm in the bamboonet too)
Lo principal que cada uno que fabrica quenas deje de creer que s≤lo Θl hace
buenas quenas, o "verdaderas quenas".
Thats all for now.
