INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------
1 cup Apple - grated
1/2 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Milk
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
2 ea Eggs - separated
DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------
Beat egg yolks, add sugar gradually; add milk, apples and nutmeg and
beat well; stir in beaten whites; pour in crust and bake as for
custard. Serve with or without whipped cream.
Note: Custard should be baked in a moderate 350 F. oven until center
of pie is somewhat firm.
