  13.        1        cup   Oats - rolled                                     
  14.        2        cup   Water - boiling                                   
  15.        2        Tbsp  Butter                                            
  16.        1/2      cup   Brown sugar                                       
  17.        1/2      tsp   Salt                                              
  18.        1        ea    Yeast cake                                        
  19.        1        cup   Water - warm                                      
  20.        4        cup   Flour                                             
  21.        1        cup   Nut meats                                         
  22.                       Raisins - optional

  24.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  26.     Cook oats in 2 c. boiling water. Cook to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in  
  27.     1/2 c warm water, combine all ingredients. Let rise to double its     
  28.     size. Put in 2 loaves, let rise again. Bake in moderate oven.         
  29.                                                                           
  30.     Note: Recipe reformatted a bit. Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F. Time not
  31.     given, probably 45 - 60 minutes. Watch closely.
