ARCHIVISTA FOUND IN FINEREADER 4.0 OPTIMAL OCR TECHNOLOGY FOR DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

At the beginning of 1999 Archivista GmbH decided to look for a better OCR that could be built into its applications. FineReader 4.0 technology came top in the evaluation process. Subsequent negotiations with Abbyy led to FineReader 4.0 technology being integrated in the Archivista products. 

Co-operation with Abbyy has proved successful ever since. In 1999 Archivista 4.12 won two awards: 
* the German computer ╖magazine CHIP 7/99 judges Archivista 4.12 ½a highly professional archiving solution╗

* Archivista is one of the five finalists for the ZiffDavies Shareware Award 1999.
