As we work on the new record, we'd like to make music available for you to listen to. As there are a large number of soundtrack projects that never get released on tape, we'd like to have you be able to hear those as well. You will need to down load a free Real Audio player for Mac or PC, available here. After you've downloaded the RealAudio Player, you'll need to exit your browser, run the RealAudio.exe program, and then re-open your browser. From that point on, you'll be able to listen to audio from thousands of websites, including record stores!! (This audio is streaming audio, so you don't need to worry about download time...) The first time the clips are played, they may be jerky depending on the speed of your modem/serverlines. Play them a second time and they should be flawless, as the clips are temporarily stored in your cache memory. You can also permanently store these pieces.

"PRAY" interview. This contains portions of 4 songs from the new release, plus an interview with Spot, where he talks about his inspirations for the new record, who plays on it, and how he feels about the music. It's a fairly large file, and may take as long as 3 minutes to buffer.

Ritual.......Experimental piece that's never been released. Originally created for a film soundtrack, this was recorded just prior to creating the music of "PRAY".  (120k if dwnloaded)

Mexican FryBread........Live Jam from MKE Indian Summer 97. Song created by Douglas Spotted Eagle, Bill Bonifas, and Peter Buffett, this originally was an off the cuff jam/encore song. In this recording, Dave Matsen, the keys/sax player has a broken hand, but plays great anyhow. Featuring Phillip Lanchet on Yupik vocals, Bill Bonifas on guitar, Dave Matsen on keys/sax, Jon Seydowitz on percussion, Mike Murphy on drums. This song is NOT part of the Voices of Native America Tour. (434K if dwnloaded)

special thanks to Andy from ThoughtInterActive for providing the video clip!!! This video is a very short clip from the "Voices" Tour, grand finale. The audio is from a video camera microphone at the far end of the venue. Please forgive the audio for this reason.
