Native Restoration

Tucked into the mountains of rural Utah is a recording studio that specializes in ethnic music for record companies, film and television broadcast, and music libraries. The studio features state of the art recording equipment, a floated tracking room, 32+tracks of digital audio, automated mixing, hard disk recording/editing, time-lock for film and television, and much more.

Higher Octave (formerly w/Windham Hill) recording artist Douglas Spotted Eagle has recorded all of his projects for film, television, and publicly released records at the studio.

The studio has entertained and produced over 100 powwow recordings, over 100 film and television projects, and has won Telly awards. We were also nominated for an Emmy in 1996 with HBO's "PAHA SAPA" a story of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Native Restoration only takes on special projects, and is not for general public hire. Ethnic projects are our specialty. Certain selected ethnic projects are recorded or produced for little or no cost. Call for a rate.
Being nestled in the hills of Stockton, Utah, makes for a very intimate setting. There are rooms on site for overnite guests, with a Best Western about 20 miles away. Horseback riding, hiking, mountain climbing, and general peace and quiet are found at this little studio in the west desert.
