I really wish that McDonald's would tell the truth. They DID NOT start in 1955 "with a shake machine and a dream" as they would like people to believe.
My dad worked for McD in 1952, when it still belonged to the McDonald brothers and Kroc was still a lowly shake machine seller.
Maybe, he bought a franchise in 55.
The brothers would never have sold him the business if they knew what he was gonna do and lie like the little bugger he was.
