Within the last two or three weeks, I have grown to hate a McDonalds system of corruption, conspiracy, blackmail and fraud.A manager (from another Store) I know recently discovered logged computer printouts of rosters and work records being deleted.
Employees weren't being paid for the shifts they had worked, and the Store Manager, who is the only person in the store with access to such information, had been deleting such records in the hope that employees would not notice missing pay.
One employee was not paid AU$70, and seven other such crew members have experienced similar problems.
The worst thing is that if the manager presents this evidence to McOpCo Australia, he will lose his job due to the fact he has stolen evidence (the printed logs which he found in a paper wastebin) from McDonalds.
My only advice I can give a McDonalds Employee? Keep PERFECT track of your pay logs. If there is ANY discrepency over missing pay, don't be afraid to stand up and question the bastards who are trying to rip you off.
