Playgrounds

I agree with Joe; don't blame the playgrounds; the problem is parental supervision. Stop blaming anyone and everyone for your inability to control your child. If you, as a parent, believe your child is in any unsafe environment, leave and do not let them play there. No one is forcing you to go to McDonald's or any restaurant with a playground. Stop trying to ruin the enjoyment for other children; those whose parents can provide control. It's unfortunate that your child was injured, but as far as I can see, you took her to the playground, you observed the conditions, and you permitted her to play. Thus, you bear the responsibility. Quit making someone else the scapegoat for your shortcomings. In reality based on your assumptions, there is not place of safety for your child; she will always be a victim of some circumstance. Did you realize that most children are injured at home?
