What kind of socialism do you all want to see?

I'm interested in what kind of socialism you all would want to see
put into place as an alternative to capitalism. I am painfully
aware of the ills of capitalism, and I believe there is an
alternative out there. But I haven't seen a system put into place
yet that solves these problems. I think it's going to have to take
an amazing, widespread, global rethinking of the way we live and a
re-ranking of each and every of our priorities. I'd like to hear
your ideas on possible alternatives.
