Last month we deployed a Certificate Authority using the built in tools on OS X Leopard (client or server). While this simple routine works well for smaller environments, it does not scale well. And, more importantly, it does not provide some key features an administrator would want to implement in a larger environment. So how do you get started? We'll first we need to pick an enterprise certificate authority to use in our environment. This begs yet another question, how do we pick an enterprise certificate authority for our environment?
