"Rusyns Alive: Recent Developments in the Homeland"

In a multimedia presentation combining travelogue, news and entertainment, Maria Silvestri, a former member of the NJ Chapter Planning Board while a student at Seton Hall University, will discuss recent developments and events in the Rusyn homeland. From August 2008 to August 2009, Ms. Silvestri was based in Presov, Slovakia and participated in Rusyn cultural life throughout the homeland. Focusing mainly on current events in the areas of politics, education and culture, Ms. Silvestri will present a vibrant picture of life in the region.
 

Directions:  Take Route 46 to the Riverview Drive Exit in the direction of Wayne. Continue on Riverview Drive to the traffic light at Valley Road. Turn right onto Valley Road and drive to the Wayne Public Library, on the left.
