  1. Just before Peach dealt the
  2. fatal blow,Fang Duck vanished,
  3. screaming vows of vengence.
  4. Peach slumped down against
  5. the wall, gasping for breath.

  12. After a while, he deemed him-
  13. self strong enough to walk,
  14. and started back.  Now that
  15. Fang Duck is gone, what comes
  16. next? 
  17. Peach noticed that everyone
  18. else had gone from the land,
  19. and he didn't think that he
  20. cound make it back to the
  21. coast.

  28. Losing all his strength again,
  29. Peach collapsed,sobbing.
  30. He didn't even see the magenta
  31. light filling the air around
  32. him.
  33. When Peach awoke, he sensed
  34. the land felt different some-
  35. how. Losing his sorrow in the
  36. wake of this curiosity, peach
  37. started hiking to the burned
  38. shack he saw on the way there.

  43. Upon reaching the top of a
  44. ridge, an amazing view came
  45. to Peach's eyes. It was if the
  46. land hadn't changed a bit, as
  47. if Fang Duck had never been in
  48. power, as if --
  49. "Hey!  What're you doing
  50. there?! Get outta my cow pas-
  51. ture!"

  61. The voice startled Peach,
  62. and he spun around to face the
  63. source. An angry chipmunk was
  64. calling from the distance.
  65. Norumbega was back to normal!
  66. Peach hadn't the foggiest
  67. idea why, but it was! Laughing
  68. hysterically, Peach ran down
  69. the hill, heading for the
  70. coast.

  75. The farmer watched the young
  76. lobster disappear into the
  77. distance.  "Kids keep getting
  78. stranger every day", he 
  79. mumbled, trudging back to his 
  80. chair.
