└──── ▀▀▀▀▀ ─── Bullshit Session with Dimer and Smooth ─── ▀▀▀▀▀ ─────┘
As in our previous issue, Dimer and I did one of these chats to start
off a sorta off beat interview or Bullshit session. We didn't wanna do it
in the wee hours of the mornin' again. So we prepared ourselves by doin'
it in the early afternoon.

Sm: yo..
dB: Cool dude... Okay, wanna start?
Sm: sure man...
dB: You can lead whenever.. I'll just save out my scroll back buffer
and give it to you.
Sm: Alrighty then... So wassup Dimer, anutha mag is due out and
pretty much we are down to our last couple of days before it's
release, dude. What's your feeling of our accomplishement
for Issue #2 of EMiGRE?
dB: Feelin' Damn good about it... I think it blows the hell out of Issue
#1.. There's no comparison. Although again, the content could be
better, but hey, we're getting there.. Shit, the last mag - we didn't
get anyone out of 808 to write a friggin article.. Look at this one!
Sm: Sheeeyet yeah! It's pretty cool that we got a few out of state
articles from some pretty cool people too, I might add!!! Hopefully
before we release Issue #3 that there will be twice the amount or
even 3 times the amount of articles that will be submitted. Though
we got some people interested in doin' stuff, it was toward the due
date of our release. I'm pretty much impressed with what we've got
available to everyone when Issue 2 is distributed on the eve of
the 20th of September. Got to check out Corruption Mag #4 man.
The interface was pretty cool dude. What'd you think about it?
dB: Man, the whole thing was great except for that RIP interface with that
dude with the spray can.. Shit.. That was lame.. I'd give it a 3.2..
Hahah... No, good one on that Smooth. The mag was pretty cool. I
>> LOVED << that ANSi scaler done by Cap'n Crunch.. Real nice effect,
guy. Emm... Those VGA's were pretty cool, too.. Didn't have an EMiGRE
article in it, though.. Hahaha.. So, I think it sucks now.
Sm: Hehehe... HEY FUCK YOU!!! <-that's for the comment bout my RIP. heheh
;) Dihk! OK, I pretty much loved the content of the mag though.
There was a lot of juicy articles in there, plus of course my
interface was used for the mag. The pHUNK was fucken RedMan's Rips.
They gave me like two boners dude. I splat all over my keyboard
when I saw them. Though I got to see them in the ACiD September
acquisition before the mag was released, they look rockin' just
the same. (seems like I'm brown nosin for more Dungeon 2 Rips
from RedMan) hahaha Anyways, RedMan's probably gonna do some artwork
for the mag soon, if we get RIP implemented into it. You think we'll
be addin' that feature in soon?
dB: Yeah, if ya want it.. I really don't think it would be that rough..
Maybe an entire magazine in Rip, with mouse support.. That would be
pretty cool. But just the RIP interface where ya cursor through a
few selections, no problem. Sounds good. I've already got some more
ideas for the next mag, too.. Original shit, of course.. Sooo.. Look
out for it. Now if only we got about 10000 gig of articles, we'd
have a bitchin' mag.. BTW, anyone up for a magazine contest? That
would be great.. The little guy (us) takin on the big boys.. We'd
sahprise ya!
Sm: That'd be totally kewl man. We'll see what comes of it and if
anyone takes EMiGRE up on that offer. Yep, we sure do need more
articles. And though we had quite a few artwork turned in for use
on the mag. I'd enjoy it more if we got artwork from members of
ACiD, iCE, NATiON, DARK, SHIVER... etc.. Gettin' a bit tired doin'
all or at least most of them myself.
dB: Well, all the ones I have ya do for the mag are sorta specific..
I'm sure alot of the groups wouldn't like a request like this..
"Okay.. Half Screen.. With the 17th, 20th, 29th, and 33rd columns
blank, no use of the character '+', don't use any high intensity
colors, and don't, NO MATTER WHAT, use the word SPAM anywhere in
the ANSi"... That stuff you can do... You like the shit work
I ask ya for, huh?
Sm: Hahah, though the part about not using SPAM in the ANSi kinda
hurt.... sob... being that Khyron of ACiD loves that Heavenly
meat from the GODS. hahaha
dB: Actually, it originated in Austin, Minnesota... (Neat little fun
fact ya can use!)
Sm: hahaha... Hey just wanted to know. How many licks does it take to
get to the center of a tootsie roll? heheh Had to do it man,
Corruption literally killed me with those interviews. ;)
dB: Yeah, it's a great question... But, they never got the real answer
from anyone... It's: One, Two, OH SHIT.. THAT'S YOUR SISTER!
Sm: Hahahah, whatta fucker... damn... hey, hope it wasn't my sistah
brah... Oh well, hey! Gotta go finish up my interview with RDuDE
man...
dB: Okay, dude.. You better get it, or we'll look REAL stupid..
Hahaha... Welp, to everyone out there that's given this a look,
Thanks!!! Later! - dB
Sm: Yep, same on this end. Thanks to everyone who contributed to dis
goddamn awesome mag of ours and would like to see more in the future.
Latez... and TALOFA - <-It's Samoan.... if you don't understand it
go tell it to a Samoan and you'll find out soon enuff.. Latez - Sm.
- Exitting Chat
Sm & dB: We outta here. L8.

Sm: Wassup Daeson! It's me Smooth... You got time to do an interview for
my magazine?
RM: Interview? Hold on dude... got somebody on the other line. I'll be
right back.
RM: >click< I'm back.
Sm: You ready?
RM: Yeah...
Sm: Alright Ummm ...bout when did you first get into the art scene?
RM: You mean like... Like... Like the computer art scene???
SM: YEah!
RM: Hmmm lemme see? I joined ACiD in October of 1993.
Sm: Were you a member of any other group before ACiD?
RM: I was actually in a VERY small local group before that.
But it doesn't really matter cause I was in there only for
like two weeks.
Sm: Only two weeks...
RM: Yeah..
Sm: Uh.. Kewl. ;)
RM: Well I started umm...I started out in the Elite scene a month before
I got into ACiD.
Sm: How'd you get into ACiD? Did you apply or were you approached by them?
RM: Actually I applied To Dark Society. Right?! uh.. But I was actually
voted out. But umm, Sameer heard I was interested in joining ACiD
so he asked me to apply.
Sm: Where in your view is ACiD at this point of time? And what's your
current feelings of their rating in the art scene?
RM: Ummm I think that we've got the biggest testicles in all the groups
as far as that... genitals go. uhh... As far as art quality, I'd have
to say... ummm it's worth like 4 or 5 jerks of your penis, iCE is more
like 2 or 3. You know what I mean?
Sm: Yeah... heheheh
Recently you've been doin' RIP graphics more then ANSis lately. What
RIP drawing software do you use and why do you prefer using that
specific program?
RM: Uhhh...I use Tombstone artist because... Well actually I prefer it
over anything because if you look very carefully when it's loading up
- it blasts ya a subliminal graphics of ummm... two testicles umm
two pairs of testicles rubbing together. And that always kinda...
you know... um it kinda hooked me. Everything else kinda suck.
Sm: Recently there has been a major topic of original artwork vs.
reproduced comic book artwork in the art scene. What's you views
on this topic?
RM: hehe Dude, if you'd like a 20 million page interview, cause that's
about what I'm gonna go into right about now.
Sm: Well, that's alright then..
RM: Well, let me just rap it up then dude. I think that the difference
between originality and comic is not actually skill but more or less
creativity. You know, they both take the same amount of masculinity
and uhh...pure talent. It's creativity that sets it apart from
it all.
Sm: It kinda sucks that Eleventh Hour is down being that it was the
easiest way for me to send stuff toya. Now that it's gone where
will you be hangin out on the boards?
Rm: I'm probably gonna detach myself from the entire modem aspect of the
scene. Simply call some local porno boards and download Gifs and
Jpegs and jack off with'em. I'll still be drawing...And the only
people that I'll actually associate with are people that call me.
Sm: A while back you had a testicle contest where you had members of
different groups send in their scrotum bags. So, enquiring minds
would like to know... who's got the BIGGEST testies?
RM: Well you know. To tell you the truth I wasn't really impressed.
I haven't really come accross any LARGE testicles. Like, I got some
testies from like Shaggy from iCE and Shihear Kallizad or whatever
alias he's goin' by now. I really wasn't impressed. I don't know
if they just deflated in the mail. Some kinda like sent them
FED-X but they all kinda tasted pretty bad. They all kinda lost
their ZING to em.
Sm: Who's got the NASTIEST testicles?
RM: Nastiest?! I'd have to say Maestro. Maestro's testicles taste like
shit.
Sm: Well to rap up this interview dude. EMiGRE is a fairly new mag
to the scene and most of the artwork in there is my stuff. I'd
pretty much love it if I could get some artwork from ya for the
mag. Is there any chance of this happenning? ;)
RM: I really cut down my production since I started school and probably
won't be really active till the next summer dude. I really got
so much homework to do. You'll probably get some artwork from me
dude but don't set your heart to it. If you guys put a Rip
interface in there though, I'll see what I can do forya. Won't
guarantee ya anything though.
Sm: That's cool dude. Anything you could do for us will be fine man.
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
That pretty much rapped up my swelled testicle interview with the
Mr. Testies himself, RedMan of ACiD. Catcha guys in the next issue...

Sm: When did you first get into the warez scene?
rD: Back in 1983 in them damn' ol' Commodore 64 days.
Sm: How'd you end up comin up with the name SiNCiTY for your BBS?
rD: From an old AC/DC song. I used to run a board back in Georgia when I
still had my ol' Commodore 64 too. ;)
Sm: How'd you end up knowing Janno?
rD: I met him through Mooncrow's Airie back when he was still a courier
for RaZOR.
Sm: Noticed that he was regular user on your system, how much would he end
up trading to your board daily?
rD: He ended up ... umm trading about 20 - 30 megs a day.
Sm: So when did you end up becomin a part of Dominators and Legend*PC? Did
they approach ya or did you apply to be a part of their group?
rD: Got in through Janno... He talked to Butcher and then Butcher called
me. The rest was all history.
Sm: Warez is kinda hard to come by here in Hawaii, what systems here
besides for your own are pretty cool for gettin any 0-7 day stuff?
rD: Sancho's system, Chaos BBS is pretty good, though it looks to be that
he's doin' all by himself. Don't see much couriers loggin on or
people loggin on and uppin' 0-7 day stuff. Though it's pretty cool.
Sm: It seems that PC-Board has been the major choice of BBS software
among the most K-RAD warez boards around the globe, what's your
views on this?
rD: Single Keystrokes or Single Menu operations is what makes it the
best and easiest way for couriers to logon, upload and logoff.
Sm: Due to 214 crackdowns that went on recently, do you think that the
warez scene will slow down any?
rD: The Warez scene will continue on... Alot of people will probably
go into hiding, and a lot of boards will be goin down. Most will
start running closed systems with current logon members of warez
groups setting accounts up for legitimate warez d00dz.
Sm: Agents of Fortune ended up goin down in 409 and will be a pretty
big loss to the scene Not many knew of the sysop who runs it.
How was Butcher anyways?
rD: Butcher was 101% 'OF THE SCENE'. Dedicated 18 hours a day to
make everythin' better. Hopefully we'll see him back soon.
He'll be missed fer sure.
Sm: Speed is a major factor to the warez scene as far as transferring
files. What actual speedz is the majority of warez d00dz usin'?
Is 28.8 catchin on?
rD: Yep, USRobitics 28.8's is the shit. Best damn modems to have
ever been released. Roboticz... Roboticz... Some people use
Hayes Optima 28.8s. The Hayes Optima connects were on an average
at 24000 most of the time. For the most reliable 28.8 connects
I'd have to say go with USR. Fucken awesome modems.
Sm: There's a local network here called UWnet that seems to label
themselves as a kewl underground network? What do you think?
rD: A few times I've been on it it... the 12 year olds RULED. A buncha
cry babies and bashers... The one time I posted a message for an
ANSi to be done for my board. The Coordinator Pecker-X said I
couldn't post that kinda message cause my board deals with warez.
Shit! Fucken Lame.
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
That's about it for our warez scene. Thanks to RDude for the
interview.
