  4. 1. Added the ability to flag / view / ignore files attached to messages. Updated
  5. files include:

  7.    EOM.PPE
  8.    EOMATTCH.PPE
  9.    FLAG.KBD
  10.    VIEW.KBD
  11.    EOMATTCH.HLP
  12.  
  13. These files should be copied into the directory that holds EOM.PPE. See
  14. INSTALL.DOC for further installation instructions.

  17. 2. Modified EOM.PPE to trap for messages that would push the message header off
  18. the top of the screen when the following conditions are met:
  19.  
  20.    - the user has 'Clear screen between msgs' set to Yes
  21.    - the user has 'Scroll long msgs' set to No
  22.    - the user is in one of the ANSI compatible Modes
  23.  
  24. Since EOM.PPE replaces PCBoard's normal 1-line prompt with a 5-line prompt (ANSI
  25. compatible mode), messages that displayed close to the user's page length
  26. setting would scroll part of the message header off the top of the screen. When
  27. the above conditions are met, a WAIT is now inserted before the EOM prompt
  28. appears.

  30. Other than copying the new EOM.PPE to your system, no other changes are
  31. necessary for this change to take affect.

  34. 3. Added XON.PPE with this update. If a user is in the non-expert mode (menus
  35. are displayed) and they wish to change to the expert mode, PCBoard's built-in
  36. XPRT keyword type (defined in *.MNU files) will not cleanly exit the menu mode.
  37. XON forces the expert mode on and the menus off. See INSTALL.DOC for
  38. installation instructions.

  41. 4. Updated the installation instructions for NEWMAIL.PPE, SCANMAIL.PPE, and
  42. EOM.PPE. Also added tips for configuring .MNU files to force the 'Q' command
  43. to Quick Scan instead of Quit Menu. Review INSTALL.DOC for this information.
