  1. I've had problems in running terminal emulation to NeXT black
  2. hardware.  (Read this as "I'm having general serial problems
  3. connecting to next hardware") I suspect that the problem is that the
  4. NeXT is driving the line at RS422 voltages (-5 to 5 volts) whereas the
  5. newton expects standard RS232 (-12 to 12 volts).

  7. Given these problems, and my assumptions being correct, I would expect
  8. folks to have problems running the Newton Connection kit with NeXT
  9. black hardware.

  11. Anyone have evidence to the contrary?
