  15. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  16. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  17. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  18. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  19. remains black.

  23. Quantex 486/66
  24. 16MB RAM
  25. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  26. Windows 95

  28. I have tried the following:

  30. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  31.  
  32. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  33.  
  34. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  35.  
  36. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  37.  
  38. * Run univbe51
  39.  
  40. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  41.  
  42. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  43.  
  44.  
  45. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  46. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.  
  47.  
  48. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
