  16. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  17. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  18. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  19. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  20. remains black.

  24. Quantex 486/66
  25. 16MB RAM
  26. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  27. Windows 95

  29. I have tried the following:

  31. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  32.  
  33. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  34.  
  35. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  36.  
  37. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  38.  
  39. * Run univbe51
  40.  
  41. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  42.  
  43. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  44.  
  45.  
  46. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  47. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.

  49. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
