  9. Hello all, I am using the "m" version on a linux machine
  10. and have been trying to install some software packages
  11. and having no luck.  I have tried
  12. putting adobe illustrator 5.0 on and it wont
  13. even read the install disk. then I tried
  14. microsoft office and when I try to install it
  15. comes back with an error that my preferences folder
  16. is read only.
