  11. Hello all, I am using the "m" version on a linux machine
  12. and have been trying to install some software packages
  13. and having no luck.  I have tried
  14. putting adobe illustrator 5.0 on and it wont
  15. even read the install disk. then I tried
  16. microsoft office and when I try to install it
  17. comes back with an error that my preferences folder
  18. is read only.
  19.  
  20. any suggestions?
