  15.         Sorry about the student rate comment...
  16.  
  17.         I've found that i can get floppies to more often work than not if i
  18. format them using the dos version of MactoDos, but it still doesm't always work.
  19.  
  20.         Write Now 4.0, a very small bu rather full-featured word processor
  21. for the Mac runs under Executor/DOS 1.99b execept for a few things:
  22.                
  23.         Can't be started first, must run something then run Write Now
  24.                 
  25.         Mouse dissappears when you begin typing, then reappears when a
  26. dialouge         box is used, then doesn't dissappear anymore.

  28.         Making text a different color works, but changing the color of a table
  29.         frezzes Executor and requires a reset :(
  30.  
  31.         Other than that it seems to run fine and is an acceptable
  32. alternative to MS Word.  Especially if you do not need a very heavy duty WP.

  34.         Speedometer 4.0 works but returns massivly incorrect benchmarks.

  36.         My setup is a 486sx33, 6MB RAM:  i run with the following switches

  38.                 -nosplash -applzone 3072 -macbpp 8 -realbpp 8

  40.         Hope this helps, i'll be trying out more software soon, just need
  41. that floppy to be reliable...
