  7.    A great vocabulary is a handy thing to have, and WORD-UP! can 
  8. help you increase or develop yours-whatever your lexicon level.  
  9. Compare your score with a friend's or your spouse's, but be 
  10. prepared to gloat or to "eat your words." 
  11.  
  12.   A challenging word list
  13.   A "cheat sentence" feature that works like a hint
  14.   A built-in mystery word puzzle

  16.    In Word Up, you are asked to define 20 words. Press the letter 
  17. that corresponds to the answer you think is the correct one. If 
  18. you miss a word, the quiz continues and you'll have a chance to 
  19. define that word later. After each correct answer, you may guess 
  20. a letter in a Mystery Word (each dash represents a letter). The 
  21. definition of the Mystery Word is given. If you correctly guess a 
  22. letter, it will be added to the word and you may choose to guess 
  23. the Mystery Word. If you give an incorrect letter or guess, you 
  24. return to the quiz.

  26.    CHEAT - When you are unsure of an answer, you may opt to 
  27. "cheat" by pressing F2. You will then see a sample sentence that 
  28. uses the word.

  30.    SCORING - You'll receive 100 points per unassisted correct 
  31. answer and 50 points per assisted correct answer (F2-Cheat). 
  32. Those scores double after you've correctly guessed the Mystery 
  33. Word.

  35.    PROMPT BOX - The box at the bottom of the main screen contains 
  36. prompts that will lead you through the quiz.
