  7.         We DO, too!

  9.         Listen, I mean.  Because we do, BBD will include the BlueLine Editor
  10.  every three months instead of every month.  This way, we have room for more of
  11.  the good stuff!  DO NOT QUIT WRITING!  Use the BlueLine from a previous issue,
  12.  or even (radical thought) a pencil.  But do not QUIT.  Our listening continues
  13.  to help only if you write.
  14.  
  15.         We hear some from the readers who like our product.  Most people like
  16.  to pass on compliments.  We hear from those readers who have a problem.  (By
  17.  the way, for more on that see the Blue Notes.)  We do not often hear from the
  18.  readers who have simple constructive criticism.  We read the report cards from
  19.  each issue thoroughly.  But what can we do to get more of them?
  20.  
  21.         There are exceptions.  During the recent past we have gotten
  22.  communications requesting a "DOS game learning tool," some "articles
  23.  explaining graphics formats, files, etc.," that we not continue "straying from
  24.  the novice and beginner," that we include more "refresher course tutorials,
  25.  how-it-works features," and other similar comments.  Listening to these
  26.  comments leads us to believe we should place more emphasis on educational
  27.  offerings.  Have you expressed your opinions?

  29.         Last month, a random sampling of you received an extra "survey disk"
  30.  with your regular package.  Have you sent it back yet?  We would like to
  31.  encourage you to do so.
  32.  
  33.         Maybe you aren't writing because we aren't answering?   I sincerely
  34.  hope we are not guilty of ignoring calls for help.  If so, please let me know
  35.  quickly.  For other letters ... well ... aw, gee!  We're probably guilty.
  36.  With changes in the organizational structure ... and so on, ^1ad infinitum^0
  37.  ... we have lots of excuses.  We are going to do better.  So please let us
  38.  hear from you.

  40.         Before I sign off, I want to brag on our features (and indirectly on
  41.  our authors) this month.  The issue has such a fine mix of fun and helpful
  42.  programs, it was hard to choose one "Feature."  Be sure to check out all of
  43.  the disk.
