  33.           Thank you for trying The Programmer's Productivity Pack!

  35.           The evaluation version of the Programmer's Productivity Pack is
  36.           usually distributed on two diskettes and/or in two compressed
  37.           files.  The programs are contained in a file called PPP25P with
  38.           an .EXE or .ZIP extension.  The User's Guide is contained in a
  39.           file called PPP25D with an .EXE or .ZIP extension.  Be sure you
  40.           have both files before attempting to use the Programmer's
  41.           Productivity Pack.  The User's Guide is very important!
  42.  
  43.           Complete instructions for using the Programmer's Productivity
  44.           Pack, version 2.50, are contained in the PROPAK.DOC text file
  45.           (the User's Guide).  For your convenience page breaks and margins
  46.           are already set.  We recommend printing a copy of that document
  47.           for reference while you are using the programs.  Please be aware
  48.           that the User's Guide is very long (about 170 pages).

  102.           Installation is easy.  Simply copy the files with an .EXE
  103.           extension into a subdirectory of your choice.  For floppy disk
  104.           systems copy PCustom.EXE and ProPak.EXE to one diskette, and
  105.           PCustom.EXE and ProSwap.EXE to another diskette.  This will
  106.           enable you to use and customize whichever program you prefer.

  108.           If you do not have a hard disk, or if you are using a version of
  109.           DOS earlier than 3.0, please refer to the description of ProSwap
  110.           in the User's Guide (PROPAK.DOC).

  125.           Configuration Files:

  128.           The first time you run the programs in the Programmer's
  129.           Productivity Pack they will generate two configuration files -
  130.           PROPAK.CFG and PROSWAP.CFG.  These configuration files contain
  131.           customizing information such as screen color attributes, sound
  132.           effects, etc.  These are the files that will be modified by
  133.           PCustom when you customize the package for your own preferences.

  135.           The configuration files (PROPAK.CFG and PROSWAP.CFG) are marked
  136.           read-only, therefore you will not be able to delete them using
  137.           the DOS "DEL" or "ERASE" commands.  To make it easy for you to
  138.           delete the configuration files if you ever need to, we have
  139.           supplied the KILLCFGS.EXE program.  KillCfgs will delete
  140.           PROPAK.CFG and PROSWAP.CFG for you.

  142.           KillCfgs only looks in the current directory for the
  143.           configuration files.  Simply make the directory containing the
  144.           configuration files the current directory and type "KILLCFGS"
  145.           <Enter>.  KillCfgs requires no command line parameters.
