  3. VTEST.TXT demonstrates how VenEdit displays most types of Ventura 
  4. Publisher's special fields (V-fields). Press F7 repeatedly to see how 
  5. this paragraph changes when displayed in plain text display mode and 
  6. V-display mode.  When in V-display mode, move the cursor to one of the 
  7. highlighted screen items.  See how the top screen line tells you what 
  8. it is.

  16. method for showing fractions: <MSJ247>1<MJ0K8>/<MSK4>2<DK0>.  V-display 
  17. mode makes a <B>lot<D> of difference!

  20. for tables and lists:<R>

  23. VenEdit automatically creates physical line breaks at them.  Let's see 
  24. your old word processor do <MBI>that<D>!

  26. Some V-fields have nothing in them like this one: <>.  They are simply 
  27. left and right right brackets (<<>>) and serve as separators.

  29. Look at the <169>quotes<170> in this sentence.  You can insert a tab 
  30. using a    tab character or using a tab<t>V-field.

  32. This<~>sentence<_>has<+>an<N>assortment<|>of spaces in it.  There are 
  33. also dashes <197> the em dash and the en dash (<196>).  Pardon me, I 
  34. must dash now!
