- Greetings Dad and Sharon,
-
- --- Even though you've heard bits and pieces of it, I am making the
- central theme of this letter the story of my walk through the valley
- in my quest for direction and purpose, which led to my being hired by
- Walk Thru the Bible Ministries.
-
- As you know, I left Diversified Business Investments at the end of
- 1988 after having a good closing on a precision machine shop. I
- wanted out of business brokerage and the business world, and hoped to
- find satisfaction in my work like I had during the first six months at
- World Outreach Ministries.
-
- I applied to Habitat for Humanity and pursued the possibility of
- buying a Christian bookstore. Then a friend told me he had responded
- to an ad in the paper and applied to WTB for an account executive
- position, and had not been hired. I had been vaguely aware of Walk
- Thru from seeing their full-color seminar posters and hearing about
- them in different ways.
