WED Full Screen Text Editor (v4.10) REGISTRATION ($xx.xx)
by Washington Computer Corporation
WED is a full screen text editor designed for programming and other
text editing functions. Features such as context sensitive help and
pop-up menus make WED commands easy to learn and remember, while
Alt-key combinations let the experienced user execute commands without
being slowed down by the menus.
WED provides the power to please even the most demanding user with
features such as undelete, multiple file editing with split screens
(up to ten files at one time), compile from editor, auto-indent and
re-indent, macros, source code printing, a pop-up ASCII table, and
word-wrap.
The WED editor lists the commands across the top line. To execute
one, hold the Alt key and type the first letter of the command. If
you are ever in doubt, type Alt-H for help.
NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 4.10
o The Undelete command has been added. This command enables you to
retrieve the last deleted block of text.
o Tab stops are now user definable. Also, the auto indent and format
indent commands have been modified to use tab characters when
possible. This feature is controled by the Setup flag, "tab
conversion."
o The Setup command now allows you to specify which keys will be
assigned to the "push" and "drop down" insert modes. You can also
specify the effect of the <del> key.
o The help facility has been improved with faster response and a
smaller help file.
o The disk swapping logic has been improved with faster swapping
operations.
